It seems there is the potential for rudeness on any of these open forums. Some people have lost their common sense and respectability, however, there are so many good people on this place. I have had to go away from it for a bit and now I just pop in from time to time and check in. But, this forum got me through some tough some really tough times and the cheer got me through some slumps. So, I would encourage you to overlook the rude people and realize that they are just careless and foolish and enjoy the company of those who are really here for the uniting purpose of learning how to live with our sleeves Hope you have a wonderful day!
One thing I have learned when you read things sometimes they seem worse then they really are. Sometimes you can't make a comment seem nice because you can hear or see there smile. I would call them out on it. You would be surprised at what you will hear. I usually hear I'm sorry that wasn't meant to be rude. Please don't leave over a few party poopers.
Your so right they're rude people, and know it Alls, but I see that everyday. I just kinda laugh and say "bless their hearts" lol. It's my go to phrase when I just can't think of an answer or nice response. Or just ignore it all together and focus on the "nice" comments. Some people mean to concerned and helpful, but when they "type" their concerns it just comes out rude. I really don't think they are aware;-) stay with us
Sit. Stay. There will always be a few rude comments made. Some are made and the person may not even realize they were being offensive. I believe there are far more wonderful people here. Don't let a few bad comments keep you from the rest of us! :-)
Passed personel goal weight of 135 in 9 months! Wow!

Certainly hope nothing I say is ever construed as rude. Now, other than that, it's like Lee Ann said - it's hard to judge a person's attitude through typing. Or, sometimes people are just reacting to their own personal trigger and it comes out more strongly. We are a chorus of hundreds. Sometimes you just gotta forgive the one that's off key that day.
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.
on a public forum you aren't going to like everything, try to ignore what you don't find helpful.
Don't go... this site has so much to offer with knowledge, support. If you've read something that seems a bit rude, it might just be the way the person wrote it and the meaning came out wrong. For the most part, everyone here is kind, generous and always seem to have a hand out to help. DON'T GO!!!!
