I have my favorites, but what are yours?
Swimming is my favourite thing to do. I was a very strong swimmer as a child, and find that by doing all the different strokes, I get a full body workout. I also mix it up with doing sprint laps, so like interval training, and using arm paddles and dragging my legs to increase resistance. The thing I've always loved about swimming is that even at my heaviest, I feel light and agile in the water.
I know that I need to start doing some weights though. I want to go skiing in March next year, so really need to get some thigh and core strength training in.
Once I'm another few pounds lighter, I'm going to go to Zumba class. I love dancing, but have felt too self conscious when at my heaviest. Now that I've dropped quite a bit, I've no excuses!
Elliptical is my favorite. I have a physical disability that has left my legs very weak and they have limited sensation due to nerve damage. The elliptical gives me the sensation of "running" which is fun because I physically can not run.

I basically love the treadmill, elliptical, and step machine. I also really enjoy step aerobics. I start slow but after about 5 minutes I kick it into high gear because I somehow found my motivation. I figure since I'm there I might as well make it worth while!
@Dana...if you take a mixed martial arts class, you will learn real boxing. I'm not sure if you read the story I posted when my fiance was instructing my personal trainer how to hold mits...it's hilarious. My fiance is a Cage Fighter (Mixed Martial Arts competetor). Another great sport is Brazillian Jui Jitzu. I see how people shred the weight and are ripped who take this class! Also, it teaches you what to do if you are taken down to the ground and how to defend yourself.
Resistance training (free weights and body weight exercises) and good old fashion walking or sprinting 1-2 times a week for me. My favorite lifts are deadlifts, pull ups and hang cleans.
