i am being sleeved Jan. 14 and have been doing a lot of research on protein powders. What about Jay Robb egg white protein powder? It comes in
flavors, is high in protein etc. i am going to order the vanilla and add to it. Just a suggestion from an unsleeved newbie! :-)

Hi everyone! I just joined this board, and am so relieved to find others who have had a similar experience! i am always looking for new sources of protein, and was very glad to discover edemame. I actually had a nice sushi with salmon and tuna (and cucumber instead of rice wrapper) with some edamade on the side - it made me feel like a regular person!
I haven't tried the pea protein..I am doing the egg white protein...I guess you cant do that? Anyway they do have several different vegetarian protiens out there...My Doc told me to that since I am allergic to whey, to try the egg white first then pea or soy...so far I think the egg white is working for me...Good luck to you in all your efforts!
Hi Grace,
Lovely to see you on line and I am happy that you are getting the information you need to maximise your power!
I have had pea and rice protein powders. The plain pea powder was fine for mixing into a curry or soup. The rice powder I had was a chocolate flavoured mix (I bought it in California). It was disappointing because it had a strong artificial sweetener taste which I didn't anticipate from the 'Natural' guise of it.
Enjoy your experimentation.
Love,
Nel
