I am 2 weeks out and I am lucky to get 30 grams in a day. Right now I am battling nausea pretty bad and have an appt tomorrow, but I can't stand the protein powder anymore. I am going into the pureed foods today if I can eat anything.

Protein is the building block of all of your muscles. You Need It. Have you tried Syntrax. I was having the same problem as you and Syntrac is the only one I liked. It comes in many flavors and I mix it with Soy Slender Chocolate Unsweetened. It is 70 calories and 5 grams of protein and only $1.88 at Walmart and then add half a scoop of cappuccino Syntrax, 12 protein and 50 calories. Tastes better than Starbucks Cappucino. Check out Syntrax online and you may find a store close to you or order over the net.
Greek yogurt is high in protein. Also if you're going onto pureed foods then you can blend down chicken or turkey and other high in protein foods into a mush and get your protein that way.x
I'm having the same issue! I think its because all the protein shakes I've tried taste horrible and it wasn't until yesterday that I actually found something I like. I made a chocolate shake with unflavored protein mix that you find at GNC.
6oz. skim milk
1 scoop protein mix
1/2 tsp coco powder (unsweetened baking kind)
Splenda as you like it
ice cubes
Blend that and it tastes JUST like a chocolate shake with 24g of protein!!! The best part is that I found all the flavored shakes to be way too sweet. With that you can make it as sweet or as unsweet as you like. Plus if you don't wanna do chocolate just go get some no-sugar pudding mix in whatever flavor you like... Hope that helps!
