It is very possible that the 12 is an exaggeration, it was just something that I read on another post on this forum. I am not knocking Dr. Alamanza, I have heard that he is a fantastic surgeon, and was actually my first choice, until I came across Dr. Quinones. Aside from dealing with his coordinators I have had no experience with Dr. Alamanza myself, but I think the sheer amount of positive testimonials speaks to his quality as a surgeon. There are many many good surgeons in Mexico.

Lol, I realized it after I wrote it, but I am pretty sure that I had read that post, and then posted on another thread something simliar... I just figured I would clear it up. I don't want to sound negative about a doctor I have no real experience with ya know.

The day I had my surgery with Almanza there were only 4 of us, one no show. The next day there were 10, the last one was done at 9pm, our no show was added on to that day.

I've read that there are lots of Almanza patients with complications. Please do your research. He also has lots of happy patients. For me I had to weigh in the negative and not just listen to the positive on him. I only paid 4500 but my surgeon limits his daily surgeries to no more than 4. The reason for this is quality control. Each surgery lasts 1-2 hours, you do the math... do you want to be patient number 6,7 or 8? I don't!

There were 7 from my family that went to Dr. Almanza last year. My niece just got back last week from a mommy makeover. She has lost 140 pounds. I am in the process right now making arrangements for another sister in law to have the sleeve next month. Dr. Almanza and the whole Jersuliam Hospital staff is awsome.

I get you totally - I have a BMI in the 36-37 range and there is a hospital in Ontario where I live who performs the surgery for free, but they denied me since I don't YET have diabetes or sleep apnea. I'm not going to wait and let that happen, I've had enough health issues to last a lifetime, thanks very much! So, Mexico has been a godsend and I'm excited to get sleeved in March.

Dr. Almaza do have a limit of surgeries he will do and when i got my surgery it was 5 or 6 of us. I think every doctor will have a couple of bad reviews if a person have a complication, in some cases people will blame the surgeon for there complication and sometimes its not there fault, but any how my experience with dr almanza was great and i was the last one to hve surgery and i came out fine. But you have to know the risk of any surgery regardless of where you get it done, in the US or Mexico you could be the one who have a complication

i saw on weightlossagents.com its 4,749 but on this website there's an advertisement by dr, mario almanza for 4,500 so now im confuse i tried talking to both to see why there is a price difference if its for same doctor. i guess neight companys are working ill try again tomorrow to see if i can get an answer. where did you get your promotion?
