got sleeved on Sept 6th , gained 15 lbs during surgery , I lost that in a few days and then 9 lbs on top of that. nothing since........ what the heck........ I know they say this is normal the first month your body getting use to surgery and all. but dang......... just need some words of encouragment

Don't forget your pre-op losses and add it in as well, you can only lose so much in a month! Don't beat yourself up, this is just the beginning. Try and make sure you are getting your water in. Hang in there, after a huge loss your body needs a little time to catch up!

Dont stress it, I lost 20 pounds the first week, I was sleeved the 23rd on Aug. I have stalled until today. So I basically went almost a month with no weight loss. You just sometimes have to wait for your body to catch up.

As long as you are doing the right things i would not worry about it. i just went through my first stall (9 days) and then i loss 4 lbs in two days.

Honey I can relate too...make sure you're walking or exercising an hr at least 5xs a week. Heck I was walking for an hr and doing a weight loss video for one hr as well but the weight didn't fall off like I thought it would but I can tell by the inches. Even though I thought I could have the surgery and not exercise I was taken back when I learned I had too. I like exercising but I don't like doing it. Deep down I know I couldn't have done it without the surgery. Keep us informed when u start back losing!

Calm down! I was the same way for three weeks!! NO pounds lost and no inches lost! My clothes were getting bigger, but I don't know how, unless everything started shifting! I am over that stall and everything is coming off!! Lost 4.5 lbs in two days and have been losing since! I know that you want to cry, cuss, and get depressed! I did!! But if not for the wonderful friends on here, I wouldn't have made it!!

You'll be fine! I'm going through a similar thing and have been searching stalls and reading posts from posters who stalled from months ago and they've since either made it to goal or lost a bunch of weight so that gave me hope.

You can relax, your weight is going to fluctuate in the next several weeks and months. We didn't put our weight on overnight and it won't come off overnight either. Sip your fluids and eat very slowly, to me that was the hardest thing to manage. I still catch myself eating too fast and have to slow down...feel every bite go down, wait and see if you are satisfied...take at least twenty to thirty minutes to eat your meal it is a lifestyle change and so we have to have patience with our bodies...every day it will get better. You and me both... ok.. let's keep eachother motivated here.. cause I know its frustrating!!!! I laughed in the hospital with the water gain from fluids.. I had gained 11 pounds in the hospital.. then lost it and 12 more when I got home.. 9 day stall for me too.. and it's starting to get on my tiny nerves now.. but hey... all these people keep telling us that our body has to catch up.. well HURRY UP.. right? LOL

Thanks , I know I didn't put this on over night , and I am drinking my water and eating like I should so I will hang in there...... its just so irritating.
