    Default cooking for family

    Here is my dilema, I have a six yr old daughter who is built like me, unfortunatly. I want to start cooking better for my kids and husband so, does anyone have any tips my kids are picky and I have to force most vegetables on them to eat. Please help.

    You will probably have to introduce it to them slowly. What you will have to do is avoid buying the junk type foods kids love and do substitutes. So instead of chicken nuggets, do baked chicken tenders with panko breading or grill tenders with no breading. Sneak veggies in soups. If you make a dish with a sauce, put in veggies. Instead of store bought pizza, make your own dough and sauce and toppings that are healthier ( turkey pepperoni, turkey Italian sausage) reduced fat cheese. Things like that.
