    Default I can eat anything

I have learned that I can eat anything...so far. I thought about feeling guilty about it, but I weigh everything, and track everything. Life has changed! I did not say no to cake last week, I took 2 small bites, and worked out for an hour. This is a tool, it's about eating healthy 95 percent of the time, but it's also about enjoying food just less less less of it!

I'm in the same boat, I rarely have an intolerance to any food, it's been like that from the start. I do eat much less, and I do fill up fast if I eat protien first. But its not how I thought it would be. I still fight wanting unhealthy food daily.

Please dont give in to the little successes/treats right now.... you're far too early out IMO.

If you do these little "gives" now, how far will you go in a year??? If you can stay strict to your plan now you will experience so many highs and happiness without food dictating your choices and your decisions.
Straight forward. Straight facts. Whether you like the truth or not... I'm not made of sugar coating

I can eat anything too, just not very much of it. I always eat my protein first, and that fills me up so that I don't have room for anything else. I was a little worried about trying salad and cole slaw, but didn't have a problem at all with them. For me, that's the great thing about having the sleeve - you can have such a variety in your diet. If I want a treat, I have an Atkins caramel/peanut bar meal replacement for lunch. It's pretty high in protein and low carb. It takes me about two hours to eat it though. I have traded my late night habit of butter pecan ice cream for a SF banana popsicle It has been a huge lifestyle change, but seeing the pounds melt away has been worth it!

you're lucky if you can eat anything! I developed a food intolerance/allergy to eggs, most dairy, whey protein powders, some seafood and spicy foods...

As long as you can reign yourself in and not get out of control with cravings then that is a good approach. If you CAN just eat a bite or two, and leave it alone, then you are doing great. A lot of people will go back for a bite or two about 3-4 in the same day so be careful. It's a slippery slope. A month out of surgery, i couldn't even finish 1/4 cup of soup. Now I can eat 1/2 cup or more. Just be careful! The further out you are--the harder it is. And there is not much restriction when it comes to sweets or chips especially at this point. One very wise lady said "I moderate eating what I CAN moderate!" She meant she cannot eat chips in moderation but she can eat ice cream in moderation without feeling the need to go get more.
