    Default Feeling nauseous after eating??

I'm several months out, but the last couple of days it seems that no matter how much the amount or what I eat, I feel nauseous. Spicy, plain, a lot or a little. I don't know what could be wrong this late in the game. I don't see how I can overeat when I'll throw up a meal I could eat twice of before.

No, definitely not. It has been at least March since anything could've happened, and I've had steady and normal periods.

I'm 7 weeks out and the same thing is happening to me. I never had any nausea up to now, and don't know why this is happening. It's also getting harder to find drinks that don't make me sick. What could be behind this change for the worse?

Yep, even after 9 months I still feel sick a lot after eating. I have a lot of nausea even when I drink. Sometimes I have to go lay down to avoid throwing up. I find if I eat maybe 1/2 cup instead of 3/4 cup at a meal it's not so bad. Just can't fill up my sleeve, but sometimes I forget to stop before I'm full.

Do you still have your gallbladder? I had the same problem, but mine was prefaced by an acute gallstone attack. I got over that episode and kept the same symptoms you described until I finally had to have the gallbladder removed.

I've wondered about my gallbladder...I had an attack a year ago, and certain foods always caused problems. Lately I've had pain between my shoulder blades and occasional pain on my left side. Could this be my gallbladder?

Wendylou, if you have questions, you should definitely call your surgeon. I knew that my gallbladder going bad was a possible side effect of the weight loss, and when the first attack happened my doc had me come in for an ultrasound that confirmed it. Typically, gallbladder pain is on the right side, so be sure and have someone check it out.
