    Default Scales, Scales, Scales

Hello, Everyone so what type of scale are you using to measure your weight? In my group I was referred to a Tanita scale. I really am looking to get a scale this weekend. I have a regular scale which gives me my weight like 252.6 but I WANT one that does the weight and body fat. I think I am going to go with a Tanita Scale Plus Body Fat Monitor with Body Water Percentage.

I can definitely recommend one NOT to buy - Health Pro. We've bought 2 (took 1 back) - they give you the extra info you want, but the weights vary up to 6-7 lbs from one minute to the next - it seriously drives me insane...

I have this digital glass scale, nothing overly fancy, no BMI, blah blah blah, just weight, all I need.

I wanted to know my body fat, because I wanted a realistic goal weight. Not one that does not take into account for my body muscle, etc. After reading an article on african american's having more muscle it made me want a scale that had body fat on it. I ended up finding one and just purchased it.

@Mbenson I figured that! I just bought one right now. I found the one like my nutritionist had so I purchased it. It cost me $47.60 from Amazon it was an Omron HBF-150 Full body sensor body composition monitor and scale. I get it before the 18th so hoping it works fine for me. Then I can determine my body weight I want to weigh for sure after knowing how much body fat I have.

AT my Dr. they use the TAnita. Here at home I use a Weight Watchers scale, which is fine. It "remembers" your last weight, and can tell you how much you lost since last weigh-in.

@Mbshil I am in San Diego too (North Park). I got one that looked like my doctors but you know it could have been a tanita but i got an omron. It was cheaper, and had good reviews. Hopefully it works out for me.

I have a fitbit and a fitbit Aria scale. It does weight and body fat and BMI. It also connects to your fitbit account through wifi and keeps charts of your stats every time you weigh.
