Liquid diet starts tomorrow

Ok so I start my liquid diet tomorrow, 5 days of that and then 2 days clear liquid prior to surgery next Wednesday. My question is did anyone cheat on this? I don't mean eating solid food but maybe a non fat yogurt or some tomato soup?

I know I can do it but just wondering how everyone else coped.

I cheated, I must confess. I ate Mexican food the Mon before my Thur surgery....I know, I know.....but I couldn't help it. It was my last chance to have a full meal.

HI there. You are so lucky that you only have to do 7 days of liquids. I had to do 14 days prior to surgery of liquids. I cheated on day one and had a handful of dry roasted peanuts, but that's it. I knew what this meant to me, so I didn't want to take it any further and jeopardize the success of my surgery.

Don't think of what you are giving up or missing, but focus on what you are going to be gaining. Believe me, you can do this.

You are lucky...had a 14 day liquid diet as well. I did not cheat...I was afraid if I cheated there may be complications during surgery. So I freaked myself out with worry. The liquid diet wasn't that bad--turn it into a challenge You can do it!!
