My goal this month is to
exercise 3-4 times a week for longer periods of time. about 2 hours a week (30 min X 4 days!)
    make better food choices!
get under 175 lbs, which would mean an 8 pound weight loss this month.

    My starting weight is 182.4.

I'm going to change my goal to:

    Get in daily exercise
Be vigilant about my food plan changes
Whatever I weigh at the end of the month will be okay as long as it is less than it is now (187)
I think taking the pressure off to get to a certain number will help.

I am goal oriented so let's see: BTW School starts Monday the 6th for me (BIG, scary change. School is how I gained all this weight)
goal #1: stop at the pool on the way home from school even if deadly exhausted; do NOT go home first and get sucked into the lethargy that has ruled my life for so long
    goal #2: 4 meals / day -- no snacking
goal #3: beat the carb seeker in me at school -- no more crazy hunts for something to eat!
goal #4: starting weight 178.6 goal 170 (that's a high goal for me -- I have been a very slow loser)
goal #5: take the time to make fun and delicious lunches for school so that I have something to look forward to
goal #6: take the time to eat breakfast -- plan to try baked oatmeal and egg white frittata muffin cups so that they are ready to go.
    Good luck, everyone!

Thanks Dee! I know in my head that I've done really well so far and I know that I'll keep doing well, but man.. sometimes I really let myself get down because I'm not still losing a pound every other day. It's silly, I know!

    1) lose 7 pounds. Actual weight 224.6, shooting for 217.6 by the end of the month. Since I will have a week of vacation I may lose only 5 and it would be super anyway
    2) keep up with the workout, I am going a minimum of 6 days a week at the gym.
    3) drink more water... this is my worst thing.

    288 - Highest weight on March 2012
    268 - Weigh before starting pre-op diet on May 14 2012. 20lb loss

    224 - 2 months post op (July 30 2012).
    178 - 7.5 m out. total loss 110, post op 72lb

Well, I WAS going to start the 5 day pouch test! Ugh I ate some curly fries and chicken nuggets today! Other than that nothing but shakes and water though. So now I will stay on liquids through the weekend to make up for today.
