Need to start working out again going to start walking today.
I've been getting to the gym more and it's been making a big difference in how I feel and how my clothes fit, as well as the scale.
My gym has these awesome treadmills I've been using. They have cable and even a USB port so I can charge my tablet and watch Netflix (there is wifi) as I walk briskly up an incline. Makes the time go faster. Can't go wrong with that.
I also swim, of course.
I miss my daily exercise crew. You guys really inspired me last year and I hope you are all doing well. Finished my first full marathon (4:17 for 26.2) this past weekend and never would have been able to do it without the encouragement you all gave me last year, all of you. Like when Anissa told me last spring that of course I could run 5 miles when I was afraid to register for an 8K with a friend. It all really helped. We are all at different points in our journeys now and the fact that this thread has died down doesn't mean it has failed, it means that it served it's purpose and oh how grateful I am that it was here for daily conversations, feedback and inspiration. I miss you guys but carry on!
Nice to see you back, bergamini! I had no doubt that you could achieve continued success, and it's always an inspiration to see you post. I have hung around because the "what's on your menu" thread, keeps me in check with my food. I wanted to mention that I also have continued to exercise, certainly not on the scale as you, but for me it's been great! I walk, strength train, and am a darn good dancer I am doing a 5 K in June, something I never thought would happen. I miss some of the "veteran" sleevers, but it's been great "meeting" new people and tracking their success. Don't be a stranger, and continued success!!
Great job on the marathon...that's impressive!!
