I started eating them at week one and have ever since. I find they go down better scrambled with american cheese or else topped with salsa. This seems to make them softer. I still sometimes feel extra full with 1 egg if I eat it without one of the above. I also have fixed them with cottage cheese or a bit of LF creme cheese and this helps. Also a little milk stirred in would make them softer.

I can eat scrambled eggs, but I do egg whites. A hard boiled egg fills me up.

I typically don't eat scrambled eggs much, but I make an omelette every now and then. 2 eggs, ham or fajita steak, and cheese.. I can never eat more than half of one... My daughter always loves the other half! lol

I had a REALLY hard time with eggs up until about 6 months post-op. They made me feel sort of nauseous and "clogged up" (if that makes any sense). Honestly, I am not a fan whatsoever of eggs to begin with, but now when I eat them they don't make me feel bad the way they used to, so yes, at least for me, it did get easier.

I have problems with scrambled eggs but I don't with a poached one. Go figure??

Seems to me a poached would be softer. Now I'm thinking about Eggs Benedict...that sounds pretty good! Sans bread of course.

And here I thought I was all alone.

    Poached Eggs = no problem.
    Scrambled Eggs = major problem.

I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

VLB, what's to wonder? Less surface tension due to a higher water content, I'd think, thus easier to eat.

Maybe it's easier for me to eat a scrambled egg because I always melt a Babybel cheese with it? It makes is really creamy and just sort of slides right down.

Yes, adding any stuff that makes the food more moist really helps it go down.

When I had poached egg in past I crunbled a slice of bread and stirred it all around. Do you think that's possible now?

Easy Poached Eggs Recipe | Simply Recipes
I don't use vinegar, but that explains why my whites go all over the place.
The poached egg pan works awesome, I have also poached eggs in my GTexpress.

Hmm, then I'd think it was the volume. Have you experimented w/ measuring anything else, like cottage cheese, in the same amount by volume as an egg?

Could it also be that you asked your Dr. to make your sleeve extra small, as I read in another thread today? You're so early out it's hard to say...you could have more swelling, etc. Have you tried eating less than a full egg? Like 1/2 or 3/4 instead? I've seen a lot of people start w/ half an egg.

Man I'm glad I don't like eggs much! People seem to have more problems w/ them...
