Update

After gaining a pound last on vacation at the beach I have made a comeback and lost 7 pounds this week! I'm now down over 70 pounds after 10 weeks pre and post op.... I gained a pound on my trip prob b/c I ate bad and drank a few beers everyday. I've buckled back down this week and figure I will only drink alchohol every two weeks or so. I'm still off bad carbs and sugar and plan on staying that way for a while.

My doc says no beer because of the carbonation. It'll stretch out your sleeve.

I have a friend one year out..... Lost a 100 and she has been drinking beer the whole time after week 7.... She looks great and only needed to lose 90... Do what you want but I live in Louisiana and I'm gonna drink a few beers...

Isn't it great that if you eat/drink one week and get right back on track you can drop those pounds so quickly after with the super wonderful sleeve!!!! How many of us could do that without the sleeve? Everyone is an individual and knows their own bodies...some will drink and have beer, some will not. Enjoy your lives, either way!

Congratulations! You have lost a pretty good chunk of weight! How does the carbonation feel? Does it make you uncomfortable or gassy?
