    July is going to be a long, stressful month for me. So my goal is to stay calm, get all my vitamins in (I forgot a few times in June), drink lots of water, up my protein a bit and love who I am...and not be so critical of myself. I would also like to lose 5 lbs.

    anna - we are at the same weight and my goal also is for 10 lbs this month..............i want to keep up with all of my other june goals as they really are " goals for life" Best wishes to all here. We can do this!!!

    I would love to lose 3lbs this month. Is it possible? I have no idea. My body seems to be stuck at 169 which was my initial goal. I've only lost like 3lbs in the past 2-2.5 months. I started swim teaching again this week so I am in the pool 3hrs a day, 4 x a week. It didn't help me lose any weight this past week but maybe I lost some fat and gained muscle??? At this point I can't do any other exercise. In our 100 degree heat and after swimming, I am exhausted! I literally pass out afterwards. I have upped my protein and my calories to about 1200-1250 cals a day. I have to, otherwise I cannot sustain with teaching! Good luck everyone for July. Remember to stay hydrated, it's really hot out there!

    I would like to try this month.. I have been in a stall for WAY to long.
    today: 236 lbs
    goals: Loose 5 lbs
    drink more water
    eat more protien
    work out, at least walking 4 days a week

    July 4th will be one month post op for me so I am excited.
    My goals.....
    1. Drink 75-80 fluid oz of water a day
    2. Get my protein in!!!
    3. Exercise at least 4 times a week.
    Weigh 263. I would like to be at 250 by August 1

    My goal is to lose 20 lbs.....My current weight is 224.....also trying to get more than 100 grms of protein a day in!!

    ok, im in....have been sleeved for 2 weeks and already lost 22 pds.....

    want to walk 5 times a week and drop 15 pds....wanting to drop a total of 60 by december....

    Thank you everyone for such wonder compliments! For those of you interested I just posted my 10 month update thread including pics in the "after your surgery" forum.

    My July goals
    1) PROTEIN!!!
    2)Exercise
    3) Loose 6 lbs (weight in at 159.5 by July 31st) This will be a hard goal to hit this far out from surgery. Going to give it my all though!!

    July 31 is my birthday, for my gift I want 5-10lbs lost. To go to the gym 2-3 times a week in addition to walking 10,000 steps a day at least 5x a week. To make healthier choices about food. I am pre-sleeve and trying to implement positive changes now.

    July now how time flies! Thank you for continuing this thread,. it makes me sit up and think what I am doing each month and plan the next four weeks. I have to say how lovely you look Tara, keep it up you are doing really well.
    As for my goals well here goes.
    Last month I went on holiday and although I did not put on any weight I stayed the same which is a first for me, so this month I have to knuckle down. My aims are as follows-
    Drink more water
    Walk more as it is the only exercise I do
    Try out more recipes for healthy eating
    and finally
    Lose weight!

    Woohoo! I am very excited about July since I live in New England. June, July, August are nice here.

    July fitness goals:
    - Work out one hour a day (6-7 times a week)
    - Eat at least 60g protein
    - Eat 2-3oz protein first in every meal
    - Drink at least 64oz fluid
    - Loose 4lb (starting BMI is 26.7)
    - Walk 20 to 30mins during lunch time (the day that I don't attend weight training class)
    - Continue food journal
    (Goal!!! Maintenance Lane!)


    • Reduce calories intake for weightloss.
    • Exercise for heart health, mental health and weight maintenance.
    • Make realistic goals.
    • Never give up.

    I am currently at 197 my July goal is to lose 15lbs in the month of July.
    I am also going to challenge myself to try some new protein rich foods.

    I'm on board with the July challenge. I have slowed down but have recently discovered bicycling again. My goals are to lose 10 lbs and ride the bike at least 5x a week. Feeling the best I have felt in a long time. I will be leaving on vacation so that should be a lot more fun than last year now that I'm 70 lbs lighter.
