Hi Everyone... I'm new. I am scheduled at JH in October for the MM and Brazillian Butt-Lift! I scheduled w/ Dr. Lara. Since he is not there anymore and others have been posting on here saying they are going to have cosmetic surgery in a few days w/ the new surgeon, I wanted to add myself to the list to gather more info on the new surgeon. Please keep me posted...especially Christy who should be on her way very soon... Thanks... I really wish there were pics we can see of his work... but sigh....I guess I'm going to have to wait...
Any updates from those that went to JH with the new PS??
Straight forward. Straight facts. Whether you like the truth or not... I'm not made of sugar coating
Check out my blog at Chronicles of a Lifetime Dieter
I'm having sx with the new PS at JH October 5th so all response are welcomed I was only familiar with Dr lara...
Ladies...about the MMO + brazillian, I wanted the same surgery but did research. It's not safe to do multiple surgeries such as breast, tummy & butt-lift. The longer we are under, the more risk. Also, think about the recovery time. How will we be able to lay on our backside when our tummy is trying to heal? The tummy will be tight and we will be bent over. While we will not be able to sit on our bootie cuz not all fat transferred will be accepted. Research! It was suggested to do the butt first with lipo coz we need fat from the tummy and other places....wait a few months and then the tummy tuck w/ breast augmentation and/or lift. Be safe......again, think about the recovery. Take care.....
I was thinking the same thing. Unless they suspend you in midair, how will you find a comfy position; can't sit and can't lie down on back or tummy. Would love to hear from some actual survivors!
Hey there Ninaricci46 and other members ... I will be getting revision from band to sleeve on October 8th, 2012 w/ Dr. Almanza, very excited/nervous . And probably next year, I will be getting ps as well w/ Jerusalem Hospital. I'm not questioning his capability and whether or not he does a good job....I really wanted to get the same surgeries....but as I googled recovery time, I got multiple hits w/ other women asking the same question and a cosmetic message board popped up. It did make some sense about the recovery time w/ our bodies needing to heal. After all, we want our bootie to look fluffed up , and we will not be able to lay on our backside....so then how will we lay on our front side considering the tt + breast Aug/lift and possibly a few parts of lipo? There is also the factor of laying on our side too but I'm just not sure. It would be great to hear from someone who has had all procedures done at once. Also, on YouTube I did see a lady that said Dr Lara wanted her to come back for the rest of her surgeries of the mmo, because of too much blood loss. Good for Dr. Lara, it shows he is a caring ps. I know I will be paying for all surgeries at once...cheaper....lol but will be doing it in 2 separate surgeries. I really want my bootie to be fluffy/perky + health/safety too for our bodies. So I will first do the lipo, gather all the fat from my tummy and fat transfer to my bootie, then on the second surgery after my body heals (6 mos), do the tummy tuck...not sure about the boobies....because that's my spot and I have read that women get numb in that area after the bl/ba,sometimes temp, sometimes permanent...yikes, can't have that....but we will see. So anyway, does Dr Lara still do surgeries for JH or is it just Dr. Niebles? I am still waiting for a gallery to be put up of his work on the website...take care beautiful ladies!!!
Neither Dr Lara nor Dr Niebles are still at Jerusalem. Dr Niebles will not do all the procedures at one, either. He did my arms and tummy tuck at the same time. He won't do lower and upper at the same time but tummy is not considered either - its middle, I guess! I have his info if and when you are ready. He is still in Tijuana but not at Jerusalem Clinic. I will be seeing him in two weeks for breast implant swap.
No Dr. Neibles is not there either, I just came back and asked about him and was told he no longer worked for Almanza and the nurse did not know if he quit or was fired. He did say that Almanzas assistant in surgery is one of 4 brothers and two of those brothers were certified for plastics and they were going to come in for the plastic surgeries. The nurse told me their name but I cannot remember it, but they all have the same last name anyway.
