I just spoke with his coordinators last week. They are a husband and wife and live in Alabama.........Brian and ???. They said he still practices at Jerusalem clinic.

I emailed the Jerusalem clinic directly and Dr. Lara is no longer there. They gave me a quote for MM and Brazilian Butt lift (5500 plus 500). But now I want to find info on the new surgeon. Can't seem to find much. I requested some from them and am awaiting a response. I'll keep you all posted!

The only thing I found was an article where a young child died undergoing surgery for a cleft palate. I will need a lot more info on the new surgeon.

Dr. Bello doesn't have a website. His primary practice is in Mexico City, but he goes to Mexicali also. I think the reason he can keep his prices low is that he doesn't have a coordiantor at all. He speaks perfect English and likes to talk to the patients himself. When i talk to him i am impressed with how caring and patient he is.

His cell phone number is 011 52 1 (686) 569-2619. On my Verizon phone, there was no cost for the phone call, but I don't know if that's true for everyone.

If i do go to Mexico, I am going to have to have excellent feedback from other members of this site or some other site. I was confident in Dr. Almanza because of all of the feedback about him on this site. I want to be as confident about the plastic surgeon I choose.

I agree. I have spent considerable time doing my research and making my decision to see DR. Lara and now this happened! Back to the drawing board.
