July 19th!!!! Right around the corner for me...
Great idea! Surgery July 19, same as you b.good, and I am excited and nervous. I found myself thinking" this is my last time to binge" so I started my liquid diet a week early to control myself. I am on day 6 of liquid diet and I'm not hungry but craving solid food for sure. Good luck to all you fellow July sleevers!!
From the start of my journey, I am down 80#!! I can't believe it! I have lost 47# since surgery. I'm a slow loser, but I am steady. This month has been the slowest with just a little over a pound a week, but as long as it is going down and not up, it's all good. I hadn't been keeping track of my calories, just making sure I got in my protein. I did check the other day and was only around 600 calories. So I'm going to make sure I'm around 800 and see if that helps. I normally only eat the 3 meals a day, so I might try eating a cheese stick here and there.
I get 800 a day its hard but I really try. My NUt suggested it.. I get 69-80 grams protein. In so happy. I have lost total 83 pounds 66 since surgery. I'm happy with the rate I just want to get to 199 so bad :-)
I think we are doing about the same as I lost 85 total,,,,,, 55 since surgery date. I am still drinking one protein shake for breakfast,,, I did buy the Torani sugar free syrups and have been experimenting with the shakes. i am guilty of not exercising as much as I am suppose to, after work and running around, I just dont have the energy to exercise when I get home. So I guess that will be a New Years resolution to start exercising!! I have been getting in 60 to 70 grams of protein daily and do drink all of my liquids daily. I do like the quest protein bars, they have 20 grams of protein in them and they are pretty good!!
I'm down 85 lbs, but I too am not exercising much. I have not lost a pound since Thanksgiving, stalls are no fun. I eat 800 - 1000 calories, and I'm trying to add veggies in, but not being very successful. I try to get 70-100g of protein everyday! Best thing is that I feel amazing!!!
I'm down 72lbs total, 58 since the day of surgery. I am doing horrible with exercising, drinking, and getting enough protein. I've been working 50-60 hour weeks on top of a 2 hour daily commute. The best thing I do for myself is mostly stick to the low carb diet my doctor has asked me to follow.
