Hello All

My name is Krys. Found this site and joined. My weight loss journey began years ago, but decided to have surgery in 2010. My surgery was performed with Pacific Bariatrics outsourced from Kaiser So Ca. Dr. Taller was my surgeon and he performed a VSG on February 18, 2011. I began at 336lbs and today I am 250. While I still have more wgt to lose, I have been schedule for a Panniculectomy on October 2, 2012. The reason I am having the surgery before a maintained loss is that I have lower back pain and causing me to not be able to function daily.

I hope to learn new information from anyone and hopefully I can be of help to someone.

Hello all, I have been soooo busy. Since I joined I was hit by a car in the employee parking while walking. Been going to physical therapy twice a week.

Update on Panniculectomy procedure.
Monday, September 24th is Pre-op with surgeon and RN.
Tuesday, October 2nd is surgery date.

I am so very excited and nervous. I am preparing for everything post-op whether I feel it is necessary or not.I continue to eat protein and drink plenty of fluids and water. Eat a lot of salad with albacore tuna (only from Costco---the best ever). Weight has stayed the same for the last 6-8 months. Taking chewable vitamins and Nature's Bounty (Hair, skin and nails tablet---bought @ Costco). Grew my hair about 2 inches in 6 weeks and cleared skin from eczema. Mainly, just staying focused and having Faith.
