Let an Old Neighbor Welcome you to the site. I was sleeved on Feb. 7th 2012 and wouldn't change a thing. I live in Conneticut since 1986 but grew up in Red Bluff. By the Map it looks like you live west of the old racetrack there in Anderson Ca. just below Redding. This site is great for questions and answers. People are great here. Lived in Redding as well off Bechelli Lane for a few years, Good Luck to you in your journey for a sleeve, and thanks for taking me home for a moment. My family still lives in Red Bluff. Is the Stockyard still in business ? I used to go with my dad to the cattle auctions, and the best prime rib at that greasy restaurant but loved it... Your avatar pic looks a lot like the one my sister sent me of the storms there a couple days back as well. Is that the Sacramento River ? Shasta or Whiskeytown lakes? God I miss Them...

I'm in the Sacramento area. I'm 6 months post op and down 64 lbs total including pre-op weight loss.

Thank you for the warm welcomes, 4linton, yes that is the Sacramento River in my Pic..... Truly is a small world is it not. The auction yard is still open, my boss's husband actually works there I too have family that lives in Red Bluff. Looking forward to sharing in each ones journey and sharing mine.

I am in Bay Area. Surgery in Burlingame. Can't wait to get this done. I was banded in 2008 and band has slipped. Also have GERD really bad to where I could not lay down to sleep at all and even sitting up I had problems. All fluid is out of band now and I am able to lay down and I can sleep again. I just started throwing up again but less than a week to my sleeve so I can handle that.
