    Cool June 2012 Challenge

Open to anyone and everyone sleeved or not.

    Here is how it works.

Post your goals for June. This can be any changes you want to make. Work out more(set days a week maybe) drink more water, eat more protein, and a final goal for weight loss for month. Be sure to post your starting weight as well so we can all see your progress. Check back in with us as often as you can so we can see your progress and offer support. Check back in with your final report on June 30th. Check January-May's threads for examples if you want/need to.

Ugh, this past month was awful for weight loss! ...but pretty good for my body reshaping itself, so I'm trying not to be dumb about it heh.

    Okay, June...

    Starting weight 248.

    I will lose 10 pounds!
I will go to yoga once a week (I'm trying to go twice a week but travel for work sometimes makes it difficult).
I will either swim or bike twice a week.
I will walk at least two miles every weekend (I know that's low, but it's easily attainable so I won't get all disheartened about it).

Hmmm.. what else.. I guess that's good for now!

    Good luck everyone!

Thanks for starting the thread early. I am super excited about June. LOL! I think it is because it is summer time.

    June goals:
Work out at least 1 hr a day, 6 to 7 times a week (treadmill, weight training class, spinning or kickboxing class)
Drink 64oz of fluid (can be tea, water, coffee, protein shake combine)
Eat 60g of protein minimum (protein shake for breakfast, meat for lunch and dinner)
Limit bad carbs to once a day (sweets, dessert)
Lose 4lbs (Starting BMI is 28.0, I would like my BMI to be 27.2 or lower at the end of the month)
Use MFP to track calories intake
    (Goal!!! Maintenance Lane!)

    • Reduce calories intake for weightloss.
    • Exercise for heart health, mental health and weight maintenance.
    • Make realistic goals.
    • Never give up.

    Hallo

I really need to join.My start weight is 241 pounds and I want to be 229 by the end of June.

So,for June I want to lose 12 pounds (to compensate for the small 8 of this month)
    I will exercise 5 time a week.
I will not obsess over the scale and try to weigh only every second day,lol
And I will try to eat breakfast every day.

This might just be the accountability I have lacked this month as far as exercising's concerned.

    xxo

Oh,and I will get a new bodybugg and wear it all the time to track my activities and calories. It really helps to get me moving more.

    My June goals:
    Starting weight 204

    I will loose 5 pounds
I will stop buying NON-REAL food for anyone including myself
I will exercise twice a day for 30 minutes (Yoga, dance, walking, splitting wood, yard work, any extra movement for 30 minutes twice a day)

My May was pretty much a flatline, so while I want to push myself, I want to set goals that are obtainable so that I feel accomplished and then build on that success (I am so lazy with the exercise regime!)

My starting weight is 287 and my goals are:
    1) weight training at least once a week
    2) protein shakes/bars twice a day
    3) walk at least 3 miles a week

I lost 5 of the 10 lbs I set as goal for May, so I will be more conservative this month!

Lose 5 lbs in June...anything over that will be a bonus
Excercise 5x week to build muscle
Drink 75 oz water every day (I slipped on this one in May)
Celebrate my journey and not be so hard on myself

Ok So I am literally a day over a week pre-op, but Im going to make a goal anyways )

I'm not completely sure of my weight yet. I am not trusting my digital scale as it shows WAY too much lost. I will confirm this at my post op appointment today!

Drink more than 1 bottle of water a day ( Hopefully wont be too difficult)
Get out and walk my dog nightly.
Get at least 7 hours of sleep ( Not super easy for me )
Get in ALL my Protein + Some!!!!!
    Cheers,
    Linds

    Ok, here we go again!

    Starting weight 171lbs

    GOALS!
    1. Do weights 3x a week and hit gym at least 5 days a week.
    2. WATER WATER WATER
    3. Up protein
    4. Loose 5 lbs so ending weight of 166lbs. I am setting this low because I am so far out nad I plan on hitting the gym hard so the weight loss will slow, stop, or I might gain a little as I add muscle.

Good luck to everyone this month!

This month is just about like last month. I'm starting at 225.2 from yesterday so I need to drop 5.4 lbs to get under 220 this month. I want to see the TEENS!
The pool is up and I'll be in any day it isn't pouring, so exercise will be happening.

Biggest challenge this month? Dealing with the stress of visiting my family in CT in 3 wks, staying with my mother for 3 days. (oil meet water) It will be a real test to see how I handle the situation this time. Hopefully having a way to exercise in my back yard will help keep me from heading for the ice cream.
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.
