I lost 4 lbs. this month...at this point, I'll take any loss. I over did my excercise and injured my knee, so it's going to be slow going.

I'm a day late - didn't make my goal but did in finality drop 3.4 lbs for the month. Considering the emotional junk I'm just glad I didn't gain.
    Off to the July post....
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.

It sounds like June was disapointing for a few of us. I had the injury in my quad and couldn't exercise most of it, and a few days ago fell into a plate of cake face first! I was out of my controlled environment and it just called to me, probably b/c I had eaten crackers a few hours earlier and I swear it was like turning up a thermostat, one that says "eat carbs eat carbs eat carbs." So that means no weight loss for this week, I guess. My goal was to lose 5-10 lbs. and I lost 3, but it's still better than where I was or a gain, so I'll take it.

My quad finally seems healed, I would take a walk when it felt okay and then have pain the next day...walked yesterday after taking a few days off and no pain this morning, so I'll be getting back to it! I'm glad b/c I need the exercise for a number of reasons, stress reduction, caloric burn, and muscle conditioning...Let's hope July is better for everyone!

    GOALS!
    1. Do weights 3x a week and hit gym at least 5 days a week.
    2. WATER WATER WATER
    3. Up protein
    4. Loose 5 lbs so ending weight of 166lbs. I am setting this low because I am so far out nad I plan on hitting the gym hard so the weight loss will slow, stop, or I might gain a little as I add muscle.

Good luck to everyone this month!
I only made one of my goals and it was the weight loss one. I weighed in at 165.5. Barely got under it but I did. I really need to start eating better and working out. Summer is KILLING me!

June Goals...................1st time actually documenting this but here goes
    1. weight loss - 15 lbs ( i have been losing slowly but surely but this month I have already lost 5 lbs. ) Started at 250.5
    2. get back to water aerobics 2x week ( was all set to start but have been sick with respiratory issues this week so had to delay)
    3. start taking advantage of the 5 free personal training sessions I received post op ( Unfortunately this gym is 2 hours away so realistic goal is 2 visits this month)
4.do some kind of exercise at least 5 x per week
    5. Continue to be faithful with documenting everything in My Fitness Pal
    6. Don't stress over scale and work towards non daily weights
    7. Stay focused and listen to my sleeve and not the old time fat thoughts in my head for what i need nutritionally.
    8. Stay positive....especially if I have a stall or other issue.
    9. Accept the positive comments and just learn to say thank you................and the negative...............pray for their ignorance!!!!

I did well with my goals........................lost 15.5 lbs by june 21 and they up and down and back to the 15.5 by 6/30 I have gone to water aerobics all month 2 x week, and started personal training. I have been faithful with exercise 5 days week and have over 2 mos of logging on MFP The other goals I have made progress but still working on. All in all a great month Bring on july!!!

    June goals:
Work out at least 1 hr a day, 6 to 7 times a week (treadmill, weight training class, spinning or kickboxing class)
Drink 64oz of fluid (can be tea, water, coffee, protein shake combine)
Eat 60g of protein minimum (protein shake for breakfast, meat for lunch and dinner)
Limit bad carbs to once a day (sweets, dessert)
Lose 4lbs (Starting BMI is 28.0, I would like my BMI to be 27.2 or lower at the end of the month)
Use MFP to track calories intake
I hit most of my goals in June.

Lost 6.4lbs. BMI was 26.7. The only I didn't well is eating sweet more than once a day.
    (Goal!!! Maintenance Lane!)

    • Reduce calories intake for weightloss.
    • Exercise for heart health, mental health and weight maintenance.
    • Make realistic goals.
    • Never give up.

    Okay, June...

    Starting weight 248.

    I will lose 10 pounds!
I will go to yoga once a week (I'm trying to go twice a week but travel for work sometimes makes it difficult).
I will either swim or bike twice a week.
I will walk at least two miles every weekend (I know that's low, but it's easily attainable so I won't get all disheartened about it).

Hmmm.. what else.. I guess that's good for now!

    Good luck everyone!
    OKay well... Not quite.

I lost 8 pounds, which is good. I also lost TWO sizes!!! I haven't been to yoga (this is a stupid excuse, but I'm waiting on a friend to get back into town). I've been swimming a handfull of times, but not religiously. I have been doing a lot of walking and a lot of 'keeping busy' type things that keep me from just sitting around all evening. So yeah.. some improvements but I could have done better.

Yay me! I was able to walk yesterday for an hour with no pain during or after! Thank God. My metabolism really needs revving up after all the days off exercise I had to take for recovery.
