Pool/water is not suitable for me for a number of reasons, but I'm intrigued by this "sit and fit" thing. What is it?

I can revisit my "Strong Women Stay Slim," though, and do some floor exercises my PT gave me a million years ago for a different issue. Lots of yoga-y stuff that works the core, but I doubt burns much calories. With my BodyBugg I've found that it's not WHAT I do so much as I spend a long time doing it. Like one, two hour walks, doesn't have to be at a top speed. But two two hour walks two days in a row is what torqued my quad...

Apparently it takes awhile to heal.

How are you doing w/ your exercise/goals?

I am doing super with my exercise goal. I have worked out every single day since 6/1. It was mostly one hour work out.

Diet wise I am doing okay. I started using MFP to plan my meal ahead of time. It helps. It works better for me than eat the food and record the calories. Once I see how much a piece of chocolate is like 70 calories. Is it really worth the calories? I did eat some cakes last weekend so the weight went up and I had to work on getting it back down. So I am still at the 3.2lb loss so far.

Feeling great. I can be happy with my current size. I want to take another 12 pounds off for potential regain.

I seem to be fairly on track. I've lost four pounds this month and have gotten back on track with eating (not going out to eat as much) and getting more exercise again. My biggest issue though is how tired I am when I get home from work. It's been really stressful and HARD to force myself to go to the Y. Weekends, however, I've done a lot fo hiking and things like that so I feel like I'm making up for it.

Well I did post on a new thread but.... I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT!

I finally reached goal! After what seems like an agonizing 7 weeks or so, the last 3 lbs slipped off me this morning. I'm so happy! Thank you all for your continued words of encouragement.

I don't plan on staying at this weight either. I'm setting a new goal for 155, so I'll definitely still be hanging around the challenge threads! You don't get rid of me so easily!

Love you all and continued success to all of you!

My scale may be broken. It showed 166 this morning! I have been at 169 for what feels like WEEKS! I wonder what it will say tomorrow. I bet its back up some and this morning was just a fluke.

I was updating my profile pic on FB and saw some of my old ones so I decided to do a side by side comparison. HUGE difference. I remember thinking how good I looked in the "before". Now it makes me want to puke.

It's been a really drag w/ my quad injury, and while it still hurts a tiny bit I tried a short leisurely stroll throughout my neighborhood yesterday and a longer one today. I feel a million times better but am REALLY going to watch it. My tendency is to overdo it b/c it feels so good and I'm so anxious to get the weight off. I need to remember that I chose the turtle icon for a reason...slow and steady wins the race and prevents injuries!

It felt so good to get out and about, I need to walk as much mentally as I do physically, it's a meditation for me and a chance to get funky w/ my Ipod at the same time. Walking around the neighborhood was nice to check out who's doing construction, whose garden has new flowers in bloom, etc. Since I was doing the longer walks previously I took long walking paths that bypassed the 'hood. Gotta check in w/the hood from time to time sans car.

I didn't do intense workout over the weekend. And I ate dessert a few times. I tried to stay active the whole time which helps.

I have reached my June goal of 4lb lost. I want to loose another 2lbs by the end of the month. It is nice to set small goals. Everything on top of it is gravy.

NSV: Just went to NY&Company. I fit into their size S shirt and size M dress. I never bought anything from them in my entire life.

    I will loose 5 pounds
I will stop buying NON-REAL food for anyone including myself
I will exercise twice a day for 30 minutes (Yoga, dance, walking, splitting wood, yard work, any extra movement for 30 minutes twice a day)
I will focus on me and what I need to do Putting myself first is the only way i will achieve my goals!
Can't believe I did it! I got on the scale yesterday and it says 189 I still dont believe it i swear my scale must have just been messed up it cant be real I am getting a new scale today just because I honestly think my kids must have broken it. on my moms scale i am 5 pounds heavier than i was last week and on mine i am 189 i dont know if its hers or mine but either way i feel like i finally made it under 200 and if i really am 11 pounds under holy cow. I know moms scale is a little tweeked out because it has been dropped and kicked and abused bad so i cant wait for my husband to get off work and bring home a new scale never thought i would be excited to weight myself

I don't think your weightloss journey is over. I know several people who had bypass. It took them a couple of years to loose all the weight they want to loose. It is up to us to use the tool (and be realistic). Hugs to you. I think once you can exercise, it will happen again.
