A little late to the party...but my goals are to keep doing the same things: 70+ grams of protein, 64+ oz. water, and exercise every day, 1 hour or more. I'm hoping for 5-10 lbs., whatever my body decides...starting this month at 198. Last month my goal was to get to Wonderland from 204, I think, and all of the same fitness and nutrition, etc. goals.

Careful with your workouts so early after surgery. I had to wait four weeks before I could swim and six weeks to do more hard core exercise. You have great goals for the month, but make sure that you are following your post surgery healing instructions from your surgeon.

Thx Gwyn. I can't swim for a few more weeks either. My doc wants me to work out everyday but only what my body can handle. Right now it is just walking for cardio. I can't lift more than 10 pounds yet. I go to my post op on Wednesday so hopefully I will be cleared to do more. Thank u! I definitely don't want to over do it.

How is everybody doing so far? I have been doing good with the workout. I am working on limiting the sweet once a day. Somedays I do well, somedays I don't.

I have NSV to share. I got a size 14 tankini a few weeks ago. I have to exchange it to a size 12 on Sunday because the size 14 is too big. I better start wearing the size 12 soon before I have to exchange it for a smaller size. LOL!

Okay, okay! I wasn't MIA, just annoyed by the disastrous month of may. I ended up gaining 2lbs and ended up at 176. How friggen frustrating especially when you're doing everything right! So far, June looks a whole lot better! Today I weighed in at 171.6. 3lbs from goal! Wow this last bit is hard.

So what am I doing different? I've upped my calories to about 1000-1100 a day and upped my protein to 90-100gms a day. It's not easy with 'real' food but I found a protein bar I really like, power crunch, and also bought the syntax nectar natural orange juice flavor protein powder. Not fantastic, but doable. If I continue to lose with the new regime, I'm happy!

Once I reach my goal, I will probably set a new goal. Lol, always got to have something to work towards right? According to the nutritionist I saw in Vegas, based on my body analysis, I'm going to work towards getting to 155. Seems like a long way away but I believe it's doable!

Last, but not least, I'm back in a bikini!

Power crunch is my favorite protein bar. I tried Quest bar but am not impressed.

Biggest challenge this month? Dealing with the stress of visiting my family in CT in 3 wks, staying with my mother for 3 days. (oil meet water) It will be a real test to see how I handle the situation this time. Hopefully having a way to exercise in my back yard will help keep me from heading for the ice cream.
I seem to be on a roll here. I've hit my goal for the month at day 7, I'm at 219.6 this morning So, being realistic, I'll just keep up my exercise and work on the harder part which is staying peaceful during my visit to CT in 2 wks. If more comes off, fine, if not fine....but I'll work hard to maintain this weight at least.
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!

Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.

June Goals...................1st time actually documenting this but here goes
    1. weight loss - 15 lbs ( i have been losing slowly but surely but this month I have already lost 5 lbs. ) Started at 250.5
    2. get back to water aerobics 2x week ( was all set to start but have been sick with respiratory issues this week so had to delay)
    3. start taking advantage of the 5 free personal training sessions I received post op ( Unfortunately this gym is 2 hours away so realistic goal is 2 visits this month)
4.do some kind of exercise at least 5 x per week
    5. Continue to be faithful with documenting everything in My Fitness Pal
    6. Don't stress over scale and work towards non daily weights
    7. Stay focused and listen to my sleeve and not the old time fat thoughts in my head for what i need nutritionally.
    8. Stay positive....especially if I have a stall or other issue.
    9. Accept the positive comments and just learn to say thank you................and the negative...............pray for their ignorance!!!!

I haven't weighed myself yet this month other than when I posted my goals. I'm hoping there's been some change after the loooooong stall I seem to be in. I still feel like my body is adjusting and moving things around. I feel different and notice changes almost daily. That's all good! I'm really seriously considering trying the Couch to 5K that everyone is talking about. I have a treadmill in my basement and should use it more! So.. while I'll still go swimming and ride my bike, I'm going to try to start on that. Even though the idea of running fills me (and my sweatsock looking boobs) with dread! hahaha

I am like Grace. I am on a roll this month after last month's slow lost. I took a hard look at my diet. After tracking my calories intake, I am down 3lbs since the beginning of the month. 3/4 of the goal is reached. I was definitely eating way too much ever since my vacation in April.

    Love myfitnesspal.

So, I have torked my quad, which means I can't exercise, which really depresses me, and I find it pretty hard to stick to the pouch test in this condition. I guess I'm just coasting but I want to be losing* but I don't want to be too restrictive right now b/c that will just make me feel deprived and want to eat more. I'm also PMSing. Thanks, Mother Nature! My leg injury could take weeks to heal and I feel like the 6 month window to lose weight is being compromised, esp. since I wasn't losing that much weight to begin w/, 1 lb. a week from the sleeve, 1 from exercise.

*I really want to get this *50 lbs. to go out of my head...I am trying to focus on getting to the next decade or maybe even the next 5 lbs.

Have you considered water aerobics? Or sitting and get fit in the meantime?

I know not being able to exercise must be causing some trepidation.

So, OT but curious, what is your boogie size?
