    Default Sleep!

For the first time since before my surgery, I tried to lay on my left side and it's not as painful. Sure my left side is more sore than the other but it's a milestone for me since I normally sleep on my stomach. I just can't wait to sleep normally again... but progress!

It's killing my back and my neck to sleep on my back. It's so uncomfortable!
When were you able to sleep on your stomach again?

Ya- my back was aching from it as well.
Day 6 I was able to lay on my side with a pillow wedged against my belly. Last 2 nights (9 and 10) were blissfully and fully on my belly.

I'm on Day 13 and since I've been really sore, I haven't fully tried to lay on my stomach. I'm just cautious of sleeping on my stomach and popping my staples or something.

I think I might be having a positively exceptional recovery experience. I won't rub it in, but I'm not complaining either

The hospital bed and staff were annoying me; I like to sleep on my side. When I got home and was able to sleep in my own bed, bliss. It did hurt sitting up and getting out of bed for awhile, but I was really okay-3 bad days in the hospital but 2 days after I got home I was taking 45 minute walks.
