Don't worry. Don't give up on yourself. Assess what you're eating, and the excercise routine that you're performing. I am about 5 months out and have had that issue as well. I have maintained the same weight for a month now, gaining and losing the same 5 pounds. Then I went to Europe for two weeks and... I sucked at my choices. I came back determined to break the freaking stall. I have switched my cardio routine and watched better what I am eating, and the results show, I promise. Your tool is still there. Don't disregard it. Remember all the effort it took you to get where you are, and determine yourself that whatever is missing to lose you will lose. Best of luck, please keep me posted
Make sure you are keeping track of your calories and exercise, and really pay attention to your water. It's not unusual to have a gain or a long stall. I have had times where I've gained up to 7 pounds overnight and then stalled for three weeks. When the stall ended, I would lose the gain overnight and then the next day usually lose another few pounds. It's important to make sure that your overall calorie intake is where it should be and that you are keeping up with the water. Also, if you haven't started exercising, make sure that you start that as well. It will come off!
Good luck!
2 lbs is nothing to stress about. Stalls are frustrating. My last one was about 5 weeks long. Increase water and protein, exercise. It'll pick back up. There seems to be a lot of us December sleevers who are struggling right now. Not sure why....

I am about 5 1/2 months out and stalled for over a month and then finally lost a couple of pounds. I had to be honest with myself though because I was not making good food choices. I was eating too many simple (easy to digest) carbs like crackers. I also know that the closer I get to my goal, the harder it is becoming to lose. The first couple of months, I was averaging about 12 lbs lost per month. Now, I am averaging only about 7.5 lbs per month if I average all 5 1/2 months! I have lost 41 lbs, but still have 35 lbs left to lose so I am no where near done. I also have had to increase my activity level. One thing that helped to jump start my loss again was to go back to the pre-surgery diet (only protein, almost no carbs) like protein shakes, cottage cheese, and scrambled eggs. That seemed to at least get it started again but the loss is still a lot slower than before. Hang in there!
Here's my cycle, I do really well, lose weight then stall. As i stall, I get frustrated and allow bad foods to creep in, then before i know it, I'm eat a little than a "few" bad foods and I gain a pound or two. I'm not saying that's what's happening to you but it's been my pattern. Myfitnesspal has been a life saver, recording all that I eat and keeping track.
I'm 9 months out and have had 3 significant stalls. The last was at 29 wks out (7 months) and lasted 8 wks. I was really damned sure I was done and was working on accepting that weight was my end weight. The last 3 weeks I've finally started dropping lbs again. I don't know how long it will last but I'll take all I can. I'm doing carb cycling. 2 consecutive days a week of less than 20 carbs and at least 100 gms of protein. The rest of the week I eat what I want but keep the calories to 1100 or less. Consistent low carb works faster but it was making me very tired, no energy to exercise....
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.
Hang in there. You aren't alone in this, many of us gain a pound or two along the way. And we all stall, sometimes for a month at a time. Then, all of a sudden, it will break and you will be high fiving yourself after getting on the scale. They say you can lose weight for up to 18 months after the sleeve, so please don't worry too much, there is a lot of time left for you to lose. Best of luck!
I was stalled for two months, too and this week lost ONE fricking pound! HA! But, its all good! I'm not going to stress about it.
Don't forget that a lot of people have been successful in jump starting the weight loss again by doing the 5 day pouch test. Here is a link: Surgical Weight Loss 5 Day Pouch Test
Thank you all for your support and advice... Im going to start the five day pouch test for sure!
