The 5 day pouch test is really just a tool to get your back on track. If you want to actually test your sleeve's capacity, then take either 8 ounces of chicken salad--no celery; or 8 ounces of cottage cheese. Follow your chewing rules and your drinking rules (no liquid 20 minutes before your meal and none 30 minutes after your meal). Then eat until you are full and feel restriction. The missing ounces are your sleeves current capacity. Right now I am at 4.5 ounces. And I hope not to ever get above 6 ounces. My nut has me do this test every three months.

    Hi

    Just an obeservation.

Chicken and cottage cheese has completely different effects on my stomach.I can really eat way more soft foods than solid protein even though I havent tried to see how much cottage cheese I can eat.

Maybe I will do it to see.Chicken is 80 grams that is almost 3oz.

    xxo
