    Default Another one w/food intolerance

I am 10 weeks post op and I've been having nausea for the past few weeks. In the past couple of days it is getting worse. For the second night I cannot eat anything for dinner as my lunch made me nauseous. Today I had about 100 calories worth of tuna and whole wheat crackers and I had to stop eating as it was settling bad.

Yes, I am going to make an appt. and will call my doctor's office in the am. But what I want to know is if anyone felt like this and everything was okay? I know the bad possibilities it could be and I'm just wondering if this could be a normal variation of the healing process?? If I even think about eating right now I get sick feeling so some of it is mental. I CAN drink water and have my homemade SF jello/protein pops so am doing that at least.

That's how I feel today, I ate breakfast and have been nausea since then. I am doing my best to get in my protein shakes and water but I haven't had much food. I have my post op Dr appt tomorrow, lets see what he says.

The nausea ebbed and flowed for me. It lasted months. I'd do nothing different and suddenly the same food would get me all queasy.
Usually if you go bland for a day or two it helps...

Thanks Patrice and Grace. Grace, I am going to try the bland diet and see if that helps, I bought some soft foods as well. I don't want to keep eating 400-500 cal/day because I think my loss will stall and it's not healthy.

I made an appt. for 6/6 and hoping I can wait that long. After 3-4 bites of solid food now I can't eat anymore. I just feel sick, not full. But I'm not even hungry so there's that.

I'm just weirded out by this because I thought I WAS doing okay. I did search and found that some people have experienced this for a while. Just hoping it lets up soon.
