    Hey all,South London here!!!...had my op done at King's College Hospital London, by Mrs Chang. The best thing i ever done...We'll apart from having 4 gawjus children, 1 grandson and my hubby of course...life couldn't be better!!!!

    Hi

    I had my sleeve done on 11/01/11 and i was 26 stones pre op now after 13 months i am 14 stones dead.
    operation was done at university hospital north staffs by MR cheruvu, this man is a genius.
    i am running cycling and having a full life 13 after post op

    Im all done and 13 days post op going to try some sloppy meatloaf and mash woooohoo. Healed well and looking forward to getting back to the gym/ swimming in a few weeks. Lost 9lb since op well over 6 stone gone now

    Hello all. SE London here.

    Just had a consult at BMI Blackheath this morning and after thinking about it this aft (I was sure I wanted the balloon) have requested the sleeve. Can't wait around for NHS, but I'm worth the cost

    I originally wanted the balloon too untill i learnt it's not that good at helping you lose weight, soooooo glad i got the sleeve!!! You will be too.x

    I'm shouting Shona! I'm waiting for the nurse to contact me re: pre-op stuff and have been reading this and other sites like mad. It's only 3 weeks away. And what I really need to do IN ADDITION to this is clean my flat, so when I return from the hospital it is all nice and clean and that's part of my new life too. (I'm reading the book "The 15 Minute Rule" and trying to clean- but that's a lot of 15 minutes!)

    Top tip is get in all you willneed for a few weeks post op like milk, soups, yogherts, nas squash (i like ribena),Anything heavy like washing powder ect and any drugs you take are well stocked some kiddies calpol is much better than sol parasetomol (yuck!!) and i get some tins of protien shakes fromTesco and have 1/2 tin a day it has helped me and dont forget your vitamins!!!
    Just think what life will be like by Christmas yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy
