Check the prices with Cosmetic Bliss in Czech Republic. All surgery is accompanied, so they either travel over with you, or pick you up from the airport. Everything is arranged for you. It's run by a couple from the UK, here's the link Bariatric Surgery | Obesity Surgery | Weight Loss Surgery | Cosmetic Bliss

I hope to have the same experience as many others have with my gastric sleeve op in just under 2 weeks. If all goes well, i will certainly go back for a tummy tuck when I've lost my weight

I'll let you know how I get on!

    Hi all,

I'm from the UK currently living in Australia soon to move to Hong Kong!

I had my sleeve here on the 5th April 2011 so far anything has gone well apart from reflux which is minimal.

Hi Everyone, I'm Stephy from London. I am 4 days post op after surgery at the BMI London Independent hospital. Hope you are all doing well!!

Just wondered which brand of multi vitamins everyone post op is using? My dietitan didn't recommend a brand just told me basically what to make sure was in it. My head was spinning in the health shop as they vary so much! i am currently having the seven seas haliborange kids chewable multivitamin with added iron and calcium I take 2 per day. Before surgery I took The Superone Multivitamin and I haven't been able to find anything as complete and high in values as that in a liquid or chewable form. I decided to buy some essential mineral drops and Essential fatty acid oils to add but would be so nice (and cheaper) to find one product to do the whole job! Anyone who has found a wonder product please let me know! Stephy xx

Congratulations. Best of luck with your journey! I am 5 days post op, 9lbs lighter and feeling great! Also haven't felt hungry since day 1! It's a great thing.

Hi Stephy, my nutritionist said to get Boots General Health Multivitamin. - it contains minerals as well as vitamins. Have you got some Biotin as well? when you get to about 3 months out your hair can start falling out - mine feels like its coming out in clumps at the moment so after speaking to my nutritionist ive upped my biotin from 1000mg to 5000mg - start taking it earlier rather than later.

Thanks so much I will look into that. I hadn't tried Boots yet. My hair fell out pretty bad when I did lighterlife a few years ago. I remember the big clumps also!! scary!! But you will be reassured to know it grew back! My doctor said it isn't always a sign of malnutrition but rather something the body does at times of large and rapid weight loss. Something to do with caveman days when we stored fat as an insulator in the winter! As we lose it the brain assumes the cold is over and we need a less thick coat of hair for the summer. Makes sense really. My diet before was so poor (mainly consisting of take aways and coke zero) if it was malnutrition as a cause I would have been bald long ago!! I am probably getting a better diet now than I ever did! ;-)
