I had the mommy make over 2 weeks ago in Clinica Jerusalem with Dr Lara. So far so good, just sore and bruised. I had a breast lift with implants, tummy tuck, lipo on my thighs and flanks with the fat transfer to my butt. I had gained 15 lbs with the swellen as of today I lost 10 lbs of the 15 gained. I was told to expect the swellen to last up to 6 weeks, but I'm almost back to normal. So far I'm not sure what to think since I haven't seen the scars yet. Everything is still covered with sterile strip which will probably fall off in another week or two. I will update as the weeks passes by!

Congratulations! How was the leg lipo? I heard that's the painful part. I had lipo on my sides with my breast reconstruction and felt like I had been pummelled with a meat tenderizer! WHat has your recovery been like? How soon before you were able to return to work? Oh, and if you don't mind my asking, what was the cost? I won't need boobs done, just all the rest you had, plus bat wing arms.

The cost was $5500 for everything, I got the fat transfer for free because I had the sleeve there but, they charge an additional $1500 for that. So if you didn't get the sleeve there it will be $7000 total. I guess you can always plead with your coordinator to get you a discount.

I guess I'm a thoughie lol! Overall I'm feeling great I was up and walking on day 2 by day 5 I was out shopping in tijuana. The lipo is the worst it is not painful it's just the soreness I don't like. The tummy it's like having a C-section it's hurts to cough, sneeze, and laugh as long I'm not doing none of those I'm fine. The compression garment help with that also it's kind of keeping everything together and make it less painful. I took 3 weeks off from work but I could have returned this week if I wanted to. If you sit behind the desk you can go back in 2 weeks depending on how you're feeling if not 3-4 weeks. I still have 1 more week that I can take off If I need to but I'm saving it to go on vacation in july. I hope that was helpful!

How long were you there and how was the Recovery House? Meds?

OMG! That price is amazing! I paid over 10K just or a lift and implants (two separate surgeries). A tummy tuck is 17K with lipo. That is a super good price!!

Same question Dee had, how long were you there? How was the flight after? Do you have drains?

I flew to San Diego alone on tuesday and was picked up the same day by the driver. I went to the clinic got my blood work and EKG done. Filled out the paperworks and spent the night ay Hotel Ticuan at their expenses since the recovery room was full. I was picked up at 5:30 am from the hotel on wednesday morning for a consultation with Dr Lara and surgery was at 7 am. I was there for 7 days I flew back home on monday. I live in FL I had scheduled my flights with at least a couple hours of layover i between flights to give me enough time to get from point A to B. I requested a wheelchair at the airport which makes things much easier for me. I had a blanket and a neck roll pillow I slept and get up and walked to the restroom in the plane for circulation. I also brought my own compression stockings to help with that. I read my books while waiting on my flight I ate at the airport I was fine really it wasn't too bad. But, I cannot guarantee that every body will react the same as me it depends on how much you moved while you there and how you feel afterwards.

How were the meds? What antibiotics/pain meds? Did you have a choice of RH or hotel and did they bring your meds to you/check on you there? Was your pain controlled?

They give you pain meds while you there with antibiotics, anti inflammation and something for nausea in the IV port. For home they gave me Ciproflaxin and something like toradol. I only took the antibiotic and Ibuprofen since I've been back. I'm not a big fan of takings meds, and I didn't have the need to take anything stronger than 800 mg of Ibuprofen for the first couple days. The recovery house was great the good thing about this surgery I was able to eat when I get there compare to the sleeve.

I only spent the first night in the hotel, second night in the clinic and I went to the recovery house on thursday morning until I leave on monday.

So they brought you to the RH for meals? Did a nurse check on you there or in the hotel?
