Hi! I'm Terri from Williamsburg, VA. Today I went for my pre-op lab work and my EKG. Everything is happening so fast. I guess it's due in part to paying for the procedure ourselves. Our insurance didn't cover it, even if I was dying. Anyway, I told my husband I couldn't live like this (overweight and in pain and just getting worse) any longer. I am so lucky to have such a great support system. My pre-op appointment is Tuesday, and my surgery is on the 21st. I am so happy this dream is coming true. Thank you.

Terri, my surgery is less than a month away. I am so excited too. I don't want to be fat anymore, nor the hunger struggle, nor the discomfort. Congrats on being only a few days away. You're gonna do great!

Hello, my name is Susan and I just heard today that my insurance will cover a sleeve or gastric bypass,,,,, going to meet the Dr for the first time next week. Excited and nervous!!
