So, I just had an epiphany of sorts today (maybe).
I recently moved back to NY in the middle of February. I had about 1 month left of my prescription for Nuva Ring from my former doctor in Maryland, but then knew I would have to make a new patient appointment in NY in order to continue getting it. Unfortunately, I was not able to see a doctor up here as a new patient until the END of April!
So I have been about 2.5 months without my birth control. And then I just realized -- it's been about 8 weeks since my weight loss has slowed down so severely (I've lost about 6-7 pounds in the last 60 days). I am trying not to get too excited, because I was probably due for a stall (I never had one until this one I'm experiencing right now), but I can't help but wonder if the two things are related. I shot an e-mail to my nutritionist to see what she thought, but...
LADIES, have any of you had an experience similar to this where you had to stop taking your birth control for at least a month or two, found your weight loss slowed WAY down, and THEN, if you started taking it again, did it go back up? Just curious!
