I made my goal of 5 lbs, and hit 6.8 lbs off total doing carb cycling. Not any kind of huge thing but after 2 lbs in 2 months I'm happy about it.

TicTacs30 - congrats on making your first goal!

Hoping to exercise more next month as the pool is up and heated in the yard...
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.

End of May & I actually accomplished most of my goals.
    Starting weight is 259
    Goals:

    1. Work out at least 3 times a week. - Mostly twice a week.
    2. Get more water in. - Accomplished & not hating it!
    3. Go to bed at a reasonable hour! (before 1 am) - This one has been rough but reading more at night helps.
    4. Work less, play more. - Might take an act of God to take the workaholic out of me..
    5. Be 249 lbs or less on June 1. - Weighed in at 244 on Monday so very happy about this one!

    Ready for June!!!

Congratulations to all who made goals. And keep going for those who didn't.

I can't wait for June. It is summer. It will be easier to get more exercise in and eat healthy.

Get back into weighing/measuring my food

I've gotten away from weighing and measuring everything. I don't know how much it's affected me, but I want to start it up again.
I did pretty well with weighing and measuring my food again. It helped I think. It helped mentally anyway! My end weight is 248, so I lost 5 pounds. That's disappointing, but I guess considering how bad I did about getting out and being active I shouldn't complain. At least it's moving in the right direction! The good news of the month is that I lost about two sizes. I've posted about how I didn't seem to be losing much in inches, but a lot of weight. This past month was the opposite. It's like I woke up one morning and could wear a 20/22, when the previous day I was in a 24.

My goal is to lose 8 lbs.
Record and Increase my water intake (I have not been able to take more than 30 ozs of water in a day)
Record and increase my protein intake
Go to the gym a minimum of 4 days per week
Start resistance training (I'm gettin' a little loose )

I did not achieve everything I set out to do this month. I am still struggling with the writing down my water and protein intake. I did work out 4 days a week. I did some resistance training, but, not enough. I'm not sure on the weight loss since I am posting from work. I know I lost something.

I can eat some sweets now and I am scared of that. I ate a couple of forkfuls of cake...cassatta cake from a local Italian bakery last week. It was soooo yummy. I don't want to go back to old habits.

I'm setting goals for June. I know Tara will probably start a new thread. Where did this month go?

    Goals
    1. WATER!
    2. Get back to the gym!!!!!

Keeping it simple this month. Its the end of the year for the kids with school and activities so we have TONS going on. Hopefully it doesnt interfere with my weight loss and exercise.
Well, I suck. I didnt do ANY of my goals. I did buy a gym membership for May but only used it once or twice. FAIL! I also still suck with water intake. I have been drinking LOTS of unsweet tea though. I like to think(key word is think) that that counts as water since it is not carbonated and has no sugar. Basically just flavored water....right?? LOL

Ending weight is 171lbs. So thats only 6.5lb weight loss for May.. I guess its not horrible for being so far out from surgery but it still sucked to see. I am having female issues which are causing lots of puffiness and swelling so I am going to blame that for now.

Well I went to the gym more this month and used the treadmill more...but hit a brick wall with the weight loss. I am down to 163 so now 18 pounds away from goal.

Tara, keep your head up! The closer you get to your goal weight the slower your body releases the weight. Don't put yourself down. You lost 6.5 lbs. Celebrate your accomplishment and you lost it without working out much. Whoo hoo!
