I'm 5'4". My beginning pre op weight was 324, BMI of 55.6. Comorbidities included sleep apnea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and borderline diabetic. My weight on the day of surgery was 291, BMI of 49.9. I'm 4 1/2 months post op, and I'm now 243 (I'm a slow looser compared to others, but ok with that), current BMI of 41.7. So close to being under 40....
I no longer have high blood pressure. I have not yet had my cholesterol or my A1C retested but hoping to soon. I'm guessing both are back in normal range. I also need to get a repeat sleep study. I have been sleeping without my CPAP off and on and thinking I probably no longer need it. I still want to lose another 80 lbs. Not sure if I'll make it that far, but that's my goal. Going to be joining a new gym soon and hoping that helps up the weight loss.

I was 34 years at surgery date, 223 lbs. I'm 5'5". BMI was 38 I think?
Comorbitities : Lower back pain, knee pain/clicking, asthma, PTSD, severe depression and generalized anxiety disorder. Pre pre-diabetic.
Today: 132 lbs. 22BMI. Back and knee pain MUCH better. Asthma IMMENSELY better. No issues with blood sugars now. Depression/anxiety are a work in progress but I am off my meds for nearly a year now.
Straight forward. Straight facts. Whether you like the truth or not... I'm not made of sugar coating

Oh and Clinical Comorbitities : Severe depression, knee pain/clicking, asthma, High blood pressure, sleep apnea.... and the most 'stretching' and exercise i got was walking upstairs to go to bed ... or (how do I put this).... reaching around to, um... well, after the bathroom, you know.
I am over a year from surgery date, started at 230 lbs, and 5'4", BMI 39.5...today I am 150 and BMI 25.7 almost "Normal". I went from a tight size 18 and XXL tops, to a 8 - 10 pant and Med to large tops. Still would like to loose 20 lbs more.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL
