Ladies who are around 5'4-5'5 tall

I was wondering how much your weight/bmi was going into surgery. I'm 25 years old and I'm 5'4 222 lbs with my bmi being 38,also have a comorbidity of high cholesterol. Just curious where other ladies around my height were going into surgery at. If you don't mind sharing. Thank you

i am 5'6 and started out at 308 51.9 BMI, with serious medical conditions, diabetes,high cholesterol, bad cholesterol, high triglycerides, RA, fibromyalgia,servere depression, anxiety...no longer diabetic and all cholesterol are great still dealing with the fibro and RA

I am 5'5 or so... I started my journey at 298 today I am 278 (being on the pre op diet now for about 3 weeks just to make it easier for myself when I had to get really into it! ) BMI dont recall the dr told me but it was the last thing on my mind when I was so upset when my insurance would not pay for it!! Surgery May 16th!!!

I was at 39 BMI 5`5 and 238 lbs. Day of surgery Best thing I ever did for myself down to 145 lbs and size 12. Feel great blood pressure is back to normal no more sleep apnea or ashma still have acid reflux though. And almost 50.

I am 62 years old, weighed 284 at my heighest, weighed 255 on day of surgery and now weigh 15?, I'm saving the number for a big announcement...lol.... I am actually at goal!! I am 5ft. 5 inches, tall. I went from a size (tight) 26-28 to a petite 12 pants and L shirt and can't shop in "Woman's World" anymore. I had diabetes (insulin every night), high blood pressure, and apnea. I'm now off all meds and don't need the CPAP! I have normal blood sugars and my blood pressure was 120/60 at the gym the other night and that's without meds. This sleeve is the best thing I could have ever done for myself and I couldn't be happier for the moment!! Continued success to everyone...

I'm 5'3". I had a starting weight of 225 lbs, BMI of 39, and sleep apnea. I'm now 8 weeks out and have lost 30 lbs. I feel better than I have in a long time.

First let me say THANK YOU Kim, for posting this question and to everyone who has shared. It's great to see where individuals are who are close to you in height, weight, age etc. and where they end up (if they've had the surgery).

I'll be 28 in June so I'll just go with that (even though 27 sounds a little better) I'm 5'4" 270 lbs. and my only comorbidity is high blood pressure. I've struggled with weight my entire life, however over the last 6-7 years I've really packed on the pounds. When I was 21 I was between 180-190 lbs. and I thought I was the fatest person in the world! I'd give anything to get back there, but really hope and pray I get below it.

I get sleeved on May 2nd so I look forward to the journey ahead and will keep you all posted on my progress!

I am 5.51/2 and day of surgery was 249 before Pre op diet 259 and as of today I am 193 and it's the best thing I have ever done for myself and to be healthier I feel Luke a new gal and very excuse to c where I finish at ;0) I didn't have any comorbitiies that's why I did sel pay with Dr. Rodriguez in Juarez Mexico ;0) so glad everyone is sharing looks like we are all on our way to new us and r doing it right!
