Football! I love the hot wings with blue cheese, so will compromise with chicken tenders marinated in the sauce, and dip in a little blue cheese. Go Packers!

Pam, it's 72% chocolate. I love that proportion. Do not care for milk chocolate at all. To be clear, chocolate is definitely a TREAT for me. It's not a food group. And it's one of the first things I cut out for a few days or a week or even longer if/when I gain a couple of pounds.

FTR, I've been at or below goal 36 of the last 52 Monday mornings. And I was below goal this morning, again. During the last year, the lowest I've weighed on Monday mornings was 2.6 pounds below goal and the highest I've weighed was 2.2 pounds above goal.

MAINTENANCE WHILE EATING A LITTLE (NOT A LOT) DARK CHOCOLATE IS POSSIBLE!!!

Love the "chocolate" tips BTW: love the chocolate too and make mine dark!!

B: usual, ate a little later as I had my mammogram early this morning
L: sweet & spicy tuna packet on chopped salad, green peppers, red kidney beans and 1 beet
D: eating late because I have yoga class tonight at 6:30 PM. When I get home around 7:45 PM, I'll have spaghetti squash w/tiny chicken meatballs and some sautéed sausage and sauce
S: probably not much as I'm eating late, but might be tempted to have a Yasso bar or scoop of Halo ice cream which is pretty tasty and low in calories and has some protein (Oh, how we fool ourselves)

Ann are you sure it's not a food group?? I'm pretty sure it is at least in my book..
I've been eating dark chocolate since probably my third week post-op and lost weight anyway. I did feel guilty at some point but surgeon and nut did say that I was right to do so for iron (yeah right:-D) and also to avoid frustration...
I usually eat 2 squares and only dark (from 70 to 80% depending on the brand) also at dinner time.
I don't do low carb per say but because I try to stay under 80 gr per day, I usually would have chocolate only if I had protein and green veggies. If I have cheese at dinner or beans I will wait for the next day to eat my two squares.

I must say I don't go overboard because I came back from a trip with chocolate in October and haven't even finished half of it. Kids like chocolate too but prefer milk so they don't eat much of it either.
Since I've been on several stalls since November I did try to eat less carbs and have less chocolate. I'm not sure it changed anything...

    Looks great to me!
I had a scan on Saturday and with the precise measure of my body composition the nut said my BMR was 1600. When I was asking her what calories intake she would recommand for me she did say to focus on protein, then said that my intake was great because she could see I lost no muscle... and then reluctantly said 1200 calories. That's what I currently eat. I don't track often but each time I do I'm around 1100/1200. I do think at that point that I need to exercise more to see things moving. argh!

Morning all. It's another rainy, cold, dreary day in NJ Florida is looking better and better all the time and can't wait for vacation in March! This weather makes me grumpy, at least that's the excuse I use to my husband...hahaha!

B: usual - nonfat plain Greek yogurt w/berries and slivered almonds
L: salad w/chili on top, cheese stick mixed in and a little olives to top
D: I have support group tonight so it's another late night. Probably a small container of cottage cheese beforehand and after a couple pieces of turkey breast on 1 slice 45 calorie bread
S: not sure, but probably Yasso yogurt frozen pop while I'm pretending to watch TV with my eyes closed!

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Hello All,
jerzey, so glad the Nor'easter didn't turn out to be bad yesterday. We even had a half day of school yesterday! Looking forward to retirement. I'm giving myself 3 more years to get everything in place!
I applaud you guys who use apps to keep track of your daily intake. I found that doing so made me think of the old WW days, and made me more anxious and neurotic. I pretty much eat what I want--but let's be realistic, its not much!
    B: 1/2c Special K protein cereal, milk
    coffee
    L: not sure yet
    D: turkey burger 1/2 c. basmati rice
    S: Dannon 80 cal Greek yogurt, peanuts/raisins
