Everybody looks like they're doing really well!

Well, I did okay w/ my breakfast and lunch yesterday...after my workout I had an extra 1/2 c. yogurt, 22 grams of protein, after I came home I fell asleep and didn't want to mess w/ dinner so had some split pea soup (about 1/2 c. I think) and a cheddar cheese stick w/ a slice of ham wrapped around it. That's about 15-20 grams of protein so I was good.

    Today I've had:

My usual breakfast: Lactaid milk w/ tea and nonfat Greek yogurt, 20 grams of protein. 240 calls.

Lunch: Protein shake on the go, 30 grams of protein. 160 calls.

Snack: Cheddar cheese stick w/ ham, 15 grams of protein, 80+ cals?

    Dinner:

    2 oz. crabmeat
    3 Tb. lentil soup

Probably around 80-100 calories. 5 grams of protein. Also: 2 sugar free fudgesicles. 45 calories each, have no idea if they have protein. Probably not. Dinner was over several hours or I'd never get the fudgesicles in! And I wanted those fudgesicles. I earned them

This is working really well for me and making me accountable, hope it's doing the same for y'all!

Last night my stomach felt ooky so I had about 6 Melba toasts, just like crackers. It's amazing to me that I've got all of these boxes of different crackers in my cabinet and no urge to binge. Same w/ pudding and fudgesicles/popsicles, etc.

    Today's Menu:

Usual Breakfast, 240 calories, 20 grams protein

Lunch: Sandwich made w/ toasted multigrain flatouts, cheddar cheese and ham
a few spoonfuls of lentil soup 450 cal, 20 grams of protein)

    Dinner:

3 oz. crab salad (17 grams of protein, 150 cal)
few spoonfuls of refried beans (I have no idea)

    fudgesicle 45 calories

    Total protein 57
    995 calories

Hmm, need to get more protein in there, will put an extra slice of cheese on the sandwich! Or extra ounce of crab.

What shake do you do that has 36 grams of protein, lee?

Extreme laziness alert-subsitute a chocolate peanut butter Cliff Builder Bar (20 grams of protein) for my scheduled lunch. Not so impressed w/ the taste, hope it provides satiation till dinner...

I use 10 ounces of Silk brand light vanilla soy milk (8 ounces has 6 grams of protein, so 10 ounces would have 7), 1 serving of PB2 powdered peanut butter (1 serving = 2 tbsp = 5g protein), 1 scoop of NOW Foods Unflavored Whey Protein Isolate (1 scoop = 25g protein) and 2 tbsp of Hershey's Sugar Free Chocolate (it might have 1g protein, but I don't care if it does or doesn't have protein lol). Calories for this version of my shake are 253.

If I don't add the peanut butter I only use 8 oz of milk and that makes the shake have 31g of protein total, which is fine with me. I just find 8oz with peanut butter to be way to thick for my liking.

Whey Protein Isolate - 5 lbs. - NOW Sports Products
Link above is the NOW Foods official site for the protein. I buy it on Amazon. I prefer unflavored because I find the flavored ones ever since surgery to be WAY too sweet (I used to be a fan of Unjury Chocolate Classic). This way I can use Sugar Free Torani Syrups or even Equal/Splenda to sweeten my shakes to taste and flavor them however I want.

Just had the most delicious stir fry for dinner! 3 oz of chicken with 1 cup of veggies with garlic, lime and low sodium soy sauce! Going to have some of my homemade protein "ice cream" later. 30g of protein.

Thanks lee! My protein shakes are premade and 30 grams of protein each, but I've been wondering about making my own out of my vast protein stores and pumping up the protein.

And sgal, I've been wondering about that protein ice cream...would be good in the summer here.

I kept to my meal plan yesterday, and jazzed up the crab salad w/ some green onions (tried them for the first time post surgery, was a bit nervous but they seemed well tolerated) and Paul Newman's light Italian dressing, salt and pepper. Big difference!

Today is going to be busy, so usual breakfast, lactaid milk and yogurt (20 grams protein, 120-240 calories)

Lunch: Protein shake (30 grams protein, 160 cals)

Snack: Crab salad (50-100 cals, 10 grams of protein)

Dinner: 1 c. cottage cheese, 28 grams protein, 180 calories
Sugar free fudgesicle or pudding, 45 cal each

Breakfast: Forgot to make my protein shake, so I grabbed a breakfast special in the cafeteria at work (blech). 2 scrambled eggs with 1 piece American cheese and 2 turkey sausage patties. I hate half of the eggs and 1 sausage patty, not concerned about calories and I don't know the protein content exactly since I don't know the brands, but I imagine it was around 12-15g protein.

Lunch: 4.5 ounces baked chicken thigh

Dinner: Probably more chicken, maybe some fresh edamame

    Snack: Probably none.

Fluids: Same as always... Diet Snapple, Crystal Lite, Water, etc.

I just list the calorie content and protein grams b/c my Health Plan has a target for me to hit; no one else should feel obligated to list them. My main focus on this thread is just being accountable to myself. It's your thang, do what u wanna do, etc.

Oh I know I usually just happen to know them because myfitnesspal does it for me, but I was lazy and didn't enter anything today. I know some people are curious about values though, so I guess that was my halfa**ed way of apologizing for not listing them, lol.

Today's menu, so many choices. Lazy or lazier on a day when lots of errands need to be done...

Breakfast: The usual, 27-31 grams protein 240 calories

Lunch: Protein shake, 30 grams of protein, 160 cal

Dinner: 3-4 oz crab salad (I hope to finish it today!) Although last night's snack with it with some dill and Old Bay seasoning? Really good. I'm just trying to eat it up first b/c it's the most perishable of all the stuff I have in the fridge right now...perfect weather for it today. 80-100 calories, 17 grams of protein.
