6 months post-op with pictures

So, I've celebrated 6 months of post-op. I've lost 71 lbs. so far. I've chopped off all my hair and also had PRK laser vision correction. I don't look the same, I don't feel the same, and I've never been happier.

I seriously have people that do not recognize me. It makes me smile whenever it happens too. I'll find another picture of me at my highest. Ewww. It was gross.

Anyways...here are a couple recent pictures. The ones of my husband and I together are from a family photo shoot we did. The other ones were just silly ones showcasing my eye makeup. My hair is a mess in that one.

For anyone thinking about the surgery, DO IT!!! It's the BEST thing I've ever done for myself.

I'm at the point where I'm not losing on my own anymore, so I'm having to be very careful with what I'm eating and getting my exercise on. My goal is to wear a bikini by June/July (when my sister is massively pregnant, mwha ha ha ha ha ha). I'm using Slim in 6 by Beachbody to try and lose these last 23 lbs and tone up. If I can get to where I want to be, I MIGHT post a before/after picture. I'll have to look damn good though to do that.

Hello Lisa- You look amazing! I am so happy for your "loss"! LOL- I noticed in your pictures that there doesn't seem to be much excess skin. Can you tell me if you just didn't have much or any at all or if there was something you did to lessen this problem?

Hey Trish,

I've lost 70 lbs. over 6 months. This is fast, but not weight loss as rapid as some experience.

As far as for what I do....I drink about 100 oz. of fluids per day. About 80 oz of plai
n water. I also moisturize witha good firming lotion.

I also didn't have loose skin to begin with. My upper arms bug me and my lower abs bother me, but I think with proper exercise they will tone upnicely.

you look great. i have my surgery on wed and i hope i do as well. istarted at 214 .am now 190.would like to end at 125 as im short . good luck to u
