Well, they do need pics. And you can stay in your choice of recovery houses or hotels but they are extra, with the RH's being the most pricey; around $100 to $150 a day, but to me they're worth it and I've just added that to the overall budget planning.

I'm cautious b/c I've seen the results (not mine thank dog and not Dr. Lara) of bad PS/recovery/aftercare HERE AND in MX and want to avoid them...we do need to remember that we often have no recourse if something goes wrong in another country like we do in the US, and total body lifts are SERIOUS surgery. You don't want one that goes bad. I'll be watching your results; you'll be a pioneer for many of us as more people get Mommy Makeovers etc. than TBL's.

Extensive scarring is part of the deal w/ TBLs, and no one can really predict how you will heal in advance. HOWEVER...there are things (not magical healing stuff/potions that people advertise other than Mederma, which does actually work) that can help w/ healing (most importantly being surgical skill) but I was thinking mostly of irregularities and/or pain. Scars will be the least of it if something goes really wrong. Tummy tucks and breast lifts, etc. are infinitely easier to do; doing TBLs take time, skill, and the proper care in recovery.

The Dr's name at Perfection is Alfonzo Gonzalez Cepeda. I am still researching the info. I did get a quote from Jerusalem hospital but it wasn't for the whole shabang. I don't want to make 2 more trips there and I requested photos of the scarring and before/after. Just wish I could fast forward about 10 months ha... lol

This price list shows upper and lower body lifts for $5,000 each and when I did call about six months ago I was told that Dr. Lara indeed does them for this price but again...no pictures. Unfortunately, I think that's the minimum you need for a surgery like that, IMO. And it's not the easiest thing to get the info about the doctors that you (I would need) to feel comfortable about booking such a surgery in Mexico...it's not the doctors so much in that realm as it is Mexico itself and the lack of regulation. On the one hand, that's one of the attractions and why the price is lower, and it's fine as long as the doctor is a experienced, skilled, practioner. On the other hand...you REALLY need to know the doctor.

Dr Lara is incredable, he's such a nice guy...if I plan on getting something done I will only see him, hes the best!!!

found a link on the obesity care site for plastic surgeon, called the ariel center in tj mx I will be using them also. prices are depending on your need. not a standard fee

Unfortunately, the Ariel Centre doesn't offer any body lift services. Their upper and lower body services do not include it.

Tulip, I know Dr. Lara is no longer at Hospital Jerusalem and I believe Louise is now gone too. They have raised their prices by $1,000 for less work. I'm still researching everything myself. Please keep me updated if find more surgeons etc thanks

Hi Mega. Dr. Lara and Louise are both gone. Dr. Niebles replaced Dr. Lara, but he's gone now too. Dr. Yanez is the new plastic surgeon and Melissa the new coordinator. I'm leaning more toward Dr. Saucedo now. It will about double the price, but I have a feeling it will be very much worth it. I've been asking another lady on the forum about the contact info for Dr. Niebles, but no info as of yet so that's an option I haven't been able to explore.

I think Sauceda is a good option, he's been in business a long time, has b/as on his website and has a huge following of fans from OH. Lucy in the Sky w/ Diamonds-she seemed really pleased. I'll email you a couple others.
