"Obese" no more!

I still remember sitting alone in that exam room years ago, waiting for the Dr. and picked up my chart and it read "obese female". I knew I was fat, but to see that word in my chart was devastating. I know it may be a small thing, but it sure feels good to know my medical records won't say OBESE in them anymore.

I am about 6 pounds away from that! So exciting. Good for you, you should be proud. It takes a lot of hard work to get there. Keep it up

I know exactly what you mean...my BMI is 28.5...not great but not a 37.8 either

Yaaay! Congratulations!!
I know exactly how you feel - So far, I've gone from a 40.7 to 28.7 BMI.
I'm totally looking forward to the 'overweight' label to go away too - can you imagine? I'm not sure that I've ever NOT been overweight.
