Platau with weight loss????

It has been almost 5 months since I have had my sleeve procedure. I was 334 2 weeks pre op and an 286 today. I have not lost any weight in atleast 3 weeks. I am eating how I am suppose to eat, though I am not exersizing. I'm just confused because I've only lost 50 pounds and i shoud lost more with the sleeve even w/o out exersize.

Has anyone ran into this problem too? is this plaetau (sp?) or is this it????

Have you considered starting an exercise program? This may be just what you need to re-jump start your weight loss. Just a thought.

My surgeon said that everyone seems to plateau/stall around the five/six month mark. It seemed I could starve myself and still put on two lbs. It happens. It's frustrating, but just stay the course.

I have not had any plateaus really... But I excerise. Even just 10 min a day will help. ARe there any activies that you like? Or do you have a wii? Anything helps I promise. Excerise is the key to not stalling, that and water and protien.

I totally feel your pain! I stall for 2-3 weeks at a time. I never loose consistently every week. Except for my first month. It has been really slow for me, but it is coming off. I don't exercise either, but I hope to start now the weather is getting nicer. To at least get out there and walk will make a difference! And I ordered syntrax nectar to help with my protein/fluid intake.

I haven't lost any weight in 3-4 weeks now. I've tried starting to exercise a little, but nothing has helped yet. From what I'm seeing everyone stalls a few times on their journey. Its so frustrating. I see my family eating whatever and however they want. There are times that I think "I paid $15,000 for this and it isn't working!" But I know it is, I'm going to get past this. My doctor has told me the honeymoon period is over, now I have to actually work for it.

I'm at 6 mos. and I was expecting a stall. We're ok. This too will pass. If we stay the course we will prevail. Best wishes

I consistently lost 20 lbs. a month for the first 3 months, so after 60 lbs...I stalled for almost 2 months...I did the 5 day pouch test (google it) and that started me losing again!

I'm a little over 7 months. It seems like since December I'll gain/lose the same three pounds over and over for two weeks and then overnight seem to drop five pounds, and then the cycle restarts. So looking at the big picture I'm still doing well, but when at Day 10 you're still at the same place you were 10 days ago you can't help but feel like you're doing something wrong.
