Albumin refers to protein in general that is water soluble from what I have researched.

I wonder why anyone would not approve something with egg in it? Anyway, thanks for the push, I've been meaning to test these out for months, after hearing so many people rave about them.

Today I tried the fuzzy navel mixed with water. Very refreshing almost orange juice. For my second liquids push I'll try the twisted cherry.

Does the lemon tea flavor really taste like iced tea? Because if so maybe I should just order that - I drink a LOT of iced tea.

Okay I had the chocolate this morning, was okay. It tasted like a choc. protein shake to me, nothing spectacular. But I just made the Fuzzy Navel and YUM! I'm not a big "fruity" kind of person but I like it a lot. Hoping the other flavors are just as good!

Oh and I just checked several packages for the ingredients and I don't see albumin listed. It says whey protein.

I just am not a big fan of drinking protein, though these are the easiest I have tried yet... but I just took 1/4 packet of the caribbean cooler and mixed it with 1/4 cup part skim ricotta cheese and a teaspoon of SF toriani coconut syrup... WOW! Now this I can do! And that little 1/4 cup mixture had 11g protein, 4g carbs, 4.5g fat and 105 calories... not a bad way to get some of that protein in anyway! Going to have try to mixing a few other flavors!

I just don't know what is wrong with me, because I just can't take the after taste of the fruit flavored drinks in water. I liked the chocolate truffle, vanilla bean torte and latte, but I used milk with those. I must have weird taste buds if all of you love this stuff.

Also on the mybariatricpantry website is the Matrix sample pack.. it sounds more up my alley, since i'm not a big 'fruity' person, either. These flavors sound good! Anyone tried the Syntrax Matrix ?

    Flavors Include:

    Bananas & Cream

    Cookies & Cream

    Milk Chocolate

    Mint Cookie

    Orange Cream

    Perfect Chocolate

    Simply Vanilla

    Strawberry Cream

Taking years to properly formulate, Matrix solves all of the problems currently afflicting those other low-grade protein powders. Most importantly, they completely stayed away from cheap, inferior protein sources such as denatured sodium and calcium caseinate. They knew that to be the best, they had to use only the highest quality, undenatured protein sources such as ultrafiltered whey protein, ultrafiltered milk protein , undenatured egg albumen and glutamine peptides. The costs are much higher, but the rewards are significant. These proteins not only taste great, but they are unmatched in their ability to improve overall health as well as build critical bodily tissues and processes. To make the highest quality product in the industry, they knew they had to do even more. They decided that they would not settle for anything buy the best tasting protein powder on the market. After countless trials, they arrived at several delicious flavors that are pure ecstasy to consume.

Matrix is thoroughly instantized so that every scoop dissolves perfectly in your favorite beverage. No more disgusting clumps or blenders that dirty your kitchen with Matrix, you only need a spoon.
