I'm three weeks post today and my stomach still kills me to bend over and pick things up, try to clean or anything. Has this been the case for anybody else?

oh yes!!! pain at this point is definately normal!! I work as a physical therapist in an acute care hospital and we always tell patients to expect a 4-8 week period of healing time after surgery. So listen to your body and don't push yourself too hard, healing takes time. You may have small incisions in your abdomen, but what was done to your stomach is not a small incision. Give yourself a break.
Thank Ya'll all so much!! I'm staying with my mom with my six year old and I feel terrible I'm not able to bend over and help around the house. I want to start working, but heck if I can't do anything at home I know I wouldn't last at new job! I feel better now, I was getting very irritated with myself!
