4 Days Post Op -- Doing Great!

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for all the love and support during my surgery. Sorry I hadn't posted after my surgery to let you all know how it went...just hadn't had a lot of energy lately. Well, all went well, no complications, stayed in the hospital 2 days. Although, I was in a lot of pain at first and still a little today, I'm very happy with my sleeve. So far I don't have any regrets. I'm still on liquids for the next 2 weeks. When I go for my follow-up appt next week, they are supposed to tell me which vitamins and proteins to get. I haven't lost one pound so far, well since my surgery. I did lose 15 lbs on the pre-op diet. I'm guessing this is normal since it's only been 4 days since my surgery. I've learned in almost all areas of my life that patience is a virtue, so I don't think this will be any different. I'm excited that this part is done and looking forward to the journey ahead. Again, I really appreciate all of you guys (and girls) for the support and wealth of knowledge that I've gained just by reading other people's posts! Talk to you soon...

Congrats on your surgery I am 8 days post-op and loving it don't weigh for the first week and will pleased on day 7. Glad all went well for u.

Thanks for checking in and congrats on your sleeve! So glad to hear that everything went well for you. We are practiclly sleeve sisters! Prayers for continued healing!

Today was a week for me. I did not think I would be as tired as I have been. Is it that I am getting OLDER or do I expect too much from myself......probably a little of both. Keep going we are all Sleeve Sisters!
