Just curious if anybody had been told to limit exposure to the sun for any reason. I can't imagine why, but you never know. My first goal was 255 so that I could start tanning again.
Haven't heard that you need to limit, but you will have to get some more sunscreen. No tshirt to cover you up this year!! Whoo hoo!!!!!!!!!
Thats funny I was gonna ask the same question today
Ok I'm going to be the walking, talking poster child for melanoma here! I had a melanoma on the back of my left leg 3 years ago. Fortunately they were able to remove it all with the first surgery and I'm fine but it's nothing to mess with. Since then I've found myself encouraging people to reconsider tanning. So not worth it! I just go get a Mystic spray tan now. I look lovely and golden and no longer have to worry about it killing me. Just food for thought! :-)
I think it is important to not get sun on those scars right now. I believe the sun will darken them this soon. So, you could put those small round bandaids on your incision spots. Or, you could put like 40 sunblock on them. I will use bandaids and not take a chance. A bit of sun is healthy, please don't over do it.
I live in the pool or at the lake jet skiing for 7 months out of the year. I do use sunscreen, 45 lotion a half hour before I go out and every half hour I use a 45 spray. I'm so white, I'm like Casper, I need the sunscreen.
