When can I return to my daily routine after surgery?

It depends on how active you were before and any complications. I was told that you can return to working at a desk after about a week. More active pursuits may take two to four weeks. The stomach muscles have been cut in several places so you really want them well healed before vigorous activity using core muscles. This type of activity may take longer.
