    Default Calorie Intake

Ok, so I guess I hit my first stall. ): At 2.5 weeks out, I had lost 30 lbs. (including pre-op diet). I am still in my stall at 3.5 weeks out. Man, how frustruating stalls can be!!!! Just curious if any of you guys can recall their daily calorie intake at about 3-4 and even to 5 weeks post-op. I am diligent in tracking my food intake on my fitness pal!!! Nothing hits my lips that doesn't get entered. I eat about 700 calories a day!! Proteins about 70 grams daily, fats about 30 grams daily, and carbs about 40 grams daily. Wondering if this is a popular amount of calories taken in during this time period or if I am too high or too low? Ready to break this stall!!!!! Thanks for any input!!!!

Had my sleeve 3 days prior to yours, I also have been in a stall for 1 to 2 weeks now with the up 1 down 1 yo-yo. Very common it appears but I know that's no comfort. It will pass soon I hope or whatever! Body noticed you lost so much so fast and is in survival mode, It thinks your starving and frugal with releasing any calorie burn. It will give in sooner or later and start to burn again. Stalls are more popular than any doctor ever told me. I was shocked to hear how common this is...

Three to five weeks out, I was drinking all my water (130oz), but was barely taking in 300 - 400 carlories. I'm almost four months out, and now I manage between 500 - 700 calories a day. It will be another year before the doctor takes that to 800 calories a day. I manage to get between 60 - 70 grams of protein a day with that, I keep fat and carbs under 25 grams per day. If your stalls goes for too long, try doing two or three days of just liquids again, then start back up, sometimes shocking the body with variation is all it needs. But remember, eventually the stall will break, your body is just adjusting to the lessening about of food it needs.
