Booth89e, I think that you have forgotten that this is a support group and that is why people are here. How can we support ignorant comments about a date that you had just met? Ok maybe there was not physical attraction on your part but calling her names and making comments like "dikey short hair" is really uncalled for an offensive to some.

Tammy, I understand that this is a support group, how is my post anti-support for PEOPLE WHO HAD GASTRIC SURGERY AND ARE WONDERING WHAT LIFE WILL BE LIKE POST-OP?

Are we now a support group for defending hair styles as well? I am not going to defend my comments, if you don't like what I post, then shed me like the pounds you are losing (which I am confused, since you list that you have had the surgery, yet your date for surgery is set for Nov. 2011) I am offended that you were able to go into the future have your surgery then come back to this time to show off your future weight loss.

Although most won't believe this, but I did spare some of the details of my date. One story that my date explained that a lesbian tried to pick her up on a train in Seattle. News Flash- She had the same hairstyle on that train as on my date. All I did was add 2 and 2 and to me it equalled Dikey Short Hair from it.

Word of Warning- I met a woman this weekend at a Dinner Party that I didn't eat at and she just facebooked me and wanted to know if we could meet next Friday for drinks. She is just my type, Blonde, Large Assets, and she seems to be into me.

I can unequivically say that Gastric Sleeve was the best thing to ever happen to me since they invented the Morning After pill.

such a good thread you started. Will she call again...your funny!!! She probably can't remember what you look like thanks to that whole bottle of wine. Any hooters I have a question for you... what if she HAD been your type?? What then?? Would you still have wined and dined the plant or would you have gone along the lines of having "dinner"? Yerk you may be... but I think down deep you have respect for yourself and perhaps others who are looking to get hitched. My advice to you is to stick to coffee dates for now and perhaps find a nice tapas bar and order wine by the GLASS

Goofy, I am glad you appreciated the post for what it was. I may be a typical guy or I may not be, I have no idea. I do know that when I was younger and single I took advantage of my looks and status and was not very respectful to women. I decided that although I am obnoxious, opiniated and all the other bad qualities I have, I will not lie to a woman just to sleep with her or exit a relationship( even if it is a one night relationship) without my dignity.(or some shred of it at least).

Another Quick Update- My ex is a blonde barbie doll ( I married for looks but actually she is an incredibly sweet person, insane and has deep incurable issues but still sweet). Apparently she saw me out and about this weekend and she texted me that she thought I looked fantastic and wanted to know if I wanted to me for Sangria and Shrimp Nachos. I won't go but revenge is best served cold or this case thinner.

Anyway I am not here for negativity and I think that most people on this site are entirely supportive of one another. I congratulate you are your success and I am glad that you feel wonderful about yourself. That is why we have this surgery isn't it? Health and Happiness..........and in regards to my surgery it was in November 2010 and I too have been very successful in my weightloss and I am very confident in myself but not so confident that I need to make rude comments about other people. That is the only point I was trying to make. Oh and by the way.......you stated that you dumped your wine in her glass and that she was obviously intoxicated but you let her get in her car and drive???????? I don't get it

I just realized you are from Canada. My deepest sympathy and please disregard anything I have said, will say in the future, or anything I may or may not think about.

Lastly, please do not over-analyze what I wrote. She was not drunk, 4 and half glasses of wine for a woman that apparently can drink me under the table over a 3 hour date is not drunk, but apparently it makes her uninhibited.

And trust me if she was truly drunk, then I would have done the right thing and drove her home and slept with her (just to make sure she was ok in the morning).

Thanks booth89e for finding the mistake on my surgery date on my signature line. I totally missed that and yes I did correct my mistake. Apparently there are laws against Herbicide and/or Phytocide, so I may be looking at charges. Notwithstanding that a couple of times during the date, I wanted to commit suicide.
